Who Should Play The Joker?

Yeah, Crispin would have been the more "ideal" Scarecrow physically I suppose. He also would have probably pulled off the creepy psycho thing really well. But still, Cillian did positively AMAZING and as a girl I can REALLY appreciate the way Crane ended up. He's so pretty when hes crazy.

Cillian Murphy = God send

Anyways, I stick by Adrian Brody as the Joker, with Crispin Glover at a close second. Sucks that he ranked lowest on that poll thing. I want to see a good picture of his smile.

Yes, Cillian is at his best when he is a psycho villain... and don't we all thank him everyday for it! LOL! It's true, he's just so beautiful when he's crazy... and he made a good Scarecrow, I'm glad they put him in the film, really made it interesting.

He was amazingly creepy... he could have beeen Joker!

With the exception of roles like "Willard" and "Thin Man" from Charlie's Angels, I can't recall anything else that Glover has done that might be a prerequisite-type for a Joker role. However, I think that he could pull it off.

It sounds like Bettany will get the part... I can live with that!

"Had an oil rig full of emails about news over at the excellent Batman-On-Film.com site suggesting a couple of my fellow Aussies might be up for roles in the forthcoming “Batman Begins” sequel.

According to the oft-bookmarked site “"Colin from Brisbane" emailed saying that an Aussie mag titled ROCK CITY is reporting that Hugo Weaving and Hugh Jackman are in the Bat-Sequel mix as The Joker and Harvey Dent respectively. I wouldn't put very much stock at all in this rumor, but I'd thought I'd toss it out there for you all to digest and discuss”.

Forgetting the fact that Jackman would be rather unlikely to be bitting the end of WB’s line, wanting to get in on another comic-to-film series so soon……um, ROCK CITY? A quick check on my Internet computers here at the publishing company I spend my days at, and nothing comes up. A quick ask-around resulted in nothing too. By the looks of it, there is no ROCK CITY.

So as Bill at the abovementioned site says don’t put much stock into this one at the moment. Anything is possible, but at this stage I wouldn’t be surprised if neither Jackman or Weaving have even heard a cricket croak about the project.

Meantime, the site played debunker this week too. News that Bob Hoskins would be up for the role of The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot in the film has been executed by firing squad. Both Hoskins and an insider for the site claim that the “Mona Lisa” actor isn’t in the running for the role.

Weaving I can see as The Joker...a HELL of a lot more than Bettany.
And I really don't think that Jake Gyllenhaal looks like a Two-Face. He looks too soft to me.

Yeah, I liked that other guy people keep talking about. Liev Schrieber? Is that how you spell it? Well, whatever, I like him.

I can see Hugo Weaving as the Joker...but Jackman as Two-face? Not sure...but he can pull the job.

i think jackman would make a good two-face.....not sure if i like the idea of Mr.Smith being the joker

LMAO i just realized mr smith ... the joker? lol, that is pretty funny. i have no idea if he can do a good Joker, but he's a good actor, never seen him in this kind of role, should be interesting

I think Gylenhaal and Bettany are very likely now. Most 0of what I heard puts them as 2 Face and joker

Gylenhaal as Scarecrow with facial injury? Is that what you said? That's so not true at all! Cillian has said many times that if and when the Scarecrow makes a return, he's wanting to reprise the role.

A taser would NO do much to him... just sting, maybe a minor burny/ scar thingummy
