Who Should Play The Joker?

Thats why they decided to find someone who looks the part, and in the auditions they will try to get the actor to do the voice. -the F4 movie. Chris Evans and Jessica Alba gave their own ideas to the director and such about new character personalities...change is not a bad thing, but it has to be a change for the better if any.

Yeah, I agree with what you've said but there are a few things that worry me about Nolans style and how that would conflict with a character like the Joker. To me the Joker is a character that radiates energy, both with his movements and expressions and with the way that Begins was set out- being having no kind of music score to follow the drama would, I think, make the Joker appear quite dull.

That aside I do trust Nolan to do well with the character but to not even consider Hamill and cast one of these nobodies on their looks would be in my opinion be a blunder. Hamill is already inside the character of the joker, he's got the energy and enthusiasm- to these other actors it would just be a nice addition to their filmography.

I think Stephen Dorff would make a pretty good Joker.

mark hamill could be the Joker Voice Consultant, so we have a new joker Hamill can help the new guy do a better voice. just an idea so hamill could be involved

JACK BLACK is an awesome actor, he amazes me more and more, even though I HATED, HATED King Kong, he portrayed a real villian. He is also very funny without trying to be....he may have to lose some pounds but I think the role of Joker Should be played by a really good comedic actor that can pull off darkness. I agree it should be a no-name like scarcrow was. "THE ACTOR WAS AMAZING"...by the way has a sequel even been announced???

**Stephen Dorff is waaayy to fine to be joker and I dont get demented from him, he would be a great addition to the cast as 2FACE, he was a sexy, and power hungry villian in Blade and did the part very well, I would love to see him as 2face...although as a fem I hope they introduce more strong women...LIKE POISON IVY...I have no idea who could play her but I think a fem villian would be dope**

Come on, if they wanted Hamill to do it, he could do.

The Joker will need makeup anyway, and it ain't that hard to lose weight if you are being paid millions to do so. A lot of people actually pay money to lose weight.

I think Hamill could too. We all know he can portray the part perfectly. The only thing that is in question is his look, and yeah, he's going bald sorta but we have wigs, we can make him look younger with makeup, and he should look messed up as it is. He would be a perfect choice, plus I think he's got the part down so well over the years that it would be a thank you for him sort of.

January 9, 2006- Given the ending of Batman Begins and according to the rumors that have been swirling online, it appears that the Dark Knight's arch-nemesis The Joker will appear in the next Batman movie. Fans, including myself, have offered their picks for the role. The most oft-named contenders include Paul Bettany, Lachey Hulme, Jude Law, Crispin Glover, Sean Penn, Alan Cumming, Johnny Depp and Adrien Brody.

Now at least one of these illsutrious thesps has gone on the record stating that he actually wants the role.

In an article published in Friday's USA Today, Brody threw his proverbial hat into the ring. "I watched Batman Begins," said Brody, who won an Oscar for The Pianist. "I thought it was really cool. I would love to play The Joker. I think he would be deformed and creepier."

Brody has earned some fanboy cred by appearing in King Kong. His other credits include The Village, The Thin Red Line and The Jacket.

I would love Brody as The Joker.

I would say that Willem Dafoe or Paul Bettany would be my choicesd as The Joker. And would'nt jude Law be better as Harvey Dent? And, I agree with Myth... "how could anybody actually consider Jack Black?"!!!

Some are. Others are mates of my mates (I think this is the first time I ever typed mate before). For Halloween they went as "The League of Villains." That is Lady Deathstrike. It was just coincidence that most of them were Batman characters. But their was still Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Lex Luther (glow stick on neck for Kryptonite), and Mystique isn't in that picture.
