So no one can use a sword or lightsaber without knowing how to use the force. GL said himself that Grievous can't use the force.

Grevious is good with a saber (or four) but that is just swordsmanship. He does not have the reflexes that he needs to do things such as deflect blaster fire and such. As for the "force jump" he performed in Clone Wars, his legs are mechanically enhanced for that kind of thing.

To put it basically grevious is just a enhanced humanoid (VERY enhanced !!!) this allows him to move with the skill and reflexes of a jedi . Grevious does not have the force end of discussion.
