I'm not pro or anti Wolverine if anything I've become apathetic towards him over the years, because sometimes the feats he's written to perform are absurd, while the core character is still pretty cool.
The problem is some deranged Wolvie fans eg wolverinefan get insanely defensive of the character (as do some Batman and Superman fans) and grasp at the thinnest of straws to prevent the slightest possibility of him losing to everyone except TOAA. Which is why its the most fun to argue with them. 😄

Marvel isn't big on the goar, I have an issue where Wolverine fights the Hulk and the captions descriping the fight tell how Wolverine's organ's and flesh are being turned to jelly bye the Hulks hits and healing... but he looked no worse for wear in the panels.
