I like how I give actual reasons as to the premise for my argument.. you simply state superman is better just because and it's enough.. hmmm well goku can fight in instant transmission... the same way he can fight in ss3 with kioken x 20.. he just doesn't do it often.. it's a simple matter of CIS..

most dbz guys need an atmosphere to survive.. not exaclty a fair assessment on your part for three reasons...
1: goku was already worn down to near exhaustion by the time that explosion happened.. he couldn't even defend himself vs. a simgle cell junior...
2: goku didn't exactly look like he was powered up or trying to whether the explosion.. he admittedly accepted his fate by that point.
3: goku couldn't survive without a planet to live on or atmosphere to thrive in anyways.. no point in defending yourself from a blast that will inderectly kill you anyways..
Blowing up the planets isn't a sign of durability, surviving things that destroy planets is, and sadly we haven't been shown Goku doing that, quite the opposite Cell's selfdestruct killed him.
