WWIII?

George W. Bush labeled the war on terror as World War three on his pro- war in Iraq/on terror speech I am currently watching.

What do you think? Is that the scale that this war has come to? Or is this all a conspiracy? 😄

Yes, no way this could be considered WWIII, and it is unlikely it will develop into such. Besides, by all the political commentary I have heard over the last 3-4 weeks by all accounts the "War on Terror" has lost a lot of steam. It seems Bush has used up his "Attack country Free" card, and his "Get out of Jail Free" card, so it seems unlikely he could whip up the global support needed to expand his WWIII to say, Iran or Korea.

I think it is going too far to cal it World war three since everyone calles it The war in Iraq which is the right name to call it.JM

Iraqi conflict is a more appropriate name for it,

I would not call the war on terror WW3.

Thats only what i think though.

It's not WWIII because it doesn't involve the entire world, it is called "world" war, right?
