i am curious how he got into comics writing...
I think Gerard Way's done pretty well, although I haven't read the Umbrella Academy series. And just recently the lead singer (?) from Anthrax wrote two Lobo comics that were pretty funny. Lead singer of Danzig owned his own comics company (Verotica or something), and Gene Simmons' son writes comics that are pretty good.
No excuse for this douche.

Heh. Little known fact: Thanos (at least used to) gets most of his energy by drawing it from his ship. Somewhat similar to Galactus in that his ship stores vast reserves of his own power. So, Thor probably could drain it before it ever got to Thanos lol. Of course, that's no where near standard knowledge...

Originally posted by Rage.Of.Olympuswow what an interpretationWhat we saw was something that "could" have happened, "if" Banner remembered right (Which he doesn't think he did.) and Thor was not out and could have gotten back into the fight apparently. The Hulk had jumped away, hence "winning".
had hulk not jumped away and left...he could've killed thor. he left after it was clear thor was close to being killed.
the same thing happened during the rulk thor encounter. rulk beat thor brutally, got bored or just didn't want to finish thor off, and jumped away.
basically, the writers obviously don't want to kill off thor so they just make it so that hulk gets disintereested and leaves after pummeling thor.
Hulk's stronger than Thor. Thor's more powerful. Pretty simple. To suggest anything other than these two statements as anything but accurate is pushing it from both fanbases and with that being said Hulk to me should win the slightest majority here as this fight benefits the Hulk in the long run.
Hulk's getting stronger and healing while Thor isn't. If Thor went balls to the wall and di dsomethin gother than swing his hammer I'd give him a solid majority but since he doesn't fight the Hulk that way Hulk wins.
Originally posted by Starscream MHe's spinning it a bit and so are you. Thor wasn't close to being killed that's an exaggeration. Hulk was winning this fight but let's not say things like he was about to die when nothing in the comic showed his life was close to being ended here.

Hey, I'm going by what he said. Apparently Thor could have gotten back into the fight if Hulk had not jumped away. He was just so shocked he didn't fight back and was put on his ass. Also according to him, Thor was never intended to look that bad. It was the artist.
In their first encounter, taking into account that Rulk was using Thor's own power against him, without Thor's knowledge (His energy absorbing abilities that were yet to revealed.), then I don't see the problem with that fight.
In retrospect it was pretty obvious, with all the hints Loeb was giving us. Tom even further confirmed Rulk leeching Thor's powers recently. He was at the very least leeching whatever little portion of the Odin Force that was kept inside of him. Thor's blows would also make him stronger feeding him energy if I understand his power set correctly.
