good one but, I think I can see a generic norse-god face and I don't particularly like Thor (don't dislike him either) ... I bet if you'd said IronMan, I would have seen his helmet ( 😘 ) in the shape of the clouds.

Let's get back to the topic so I don't have to temporarily lock this thread. Talk about the most recent scans in the Thor Discussion thread.
ok to sum it up....
IMO most of Hulk/Thor fights (and some of them written by guys like Stan) were brawls which show them to be close with a slight edge going to Hulk because of his constantly growing strength and durability.
I agree with this 100%. Hulk and Juggernaut (and possibly Kurse) are the ultimate bricks in Marvel and it is highly unlikely for any other character to beat him in close quarters.
Now, we have seen Thor using a vast array of powers to take down multiple opponents (and some of the being Stronger and more durable than him). Even in close quarters when all is lost Thor has been shown to resort to inner power usually untapped in most of his fights (example: his fight with Durok).
In most cases Thor fights Hulk in a close quarter fight using only physical attributes and technique in order to prove that he is his better. Also from those fights most of them have no high stakes for the looser (except exceptions like in the Avengers/Defenders storyline).
To conclude my assessment: Thor is a more skilled fighter with greater strength at the beginning of the fight and better speed anddurability (for example we can see how Thor was affected by Vector going all out in contrast with Hulk). Thor can get a great deal of punishment by Hulk but eventually Hulk's blows will grow stronger and his wounds will be direr. On the other hand. Hulk will get more hits from Thor and his wounds might be more severe but his healing factor will take care of that instantly. His strength will keep growing during the fight and I also have to give him the edge of stamina (almost unlimited IMO).
Overall: However skilled or strong a character can be unless he is really willing to kill Hulk in the first stages of the fight, this fight is lost for him (applicable for most charters IMO). Thor will keep brawling with Hulk and he is most likely going to loose those fights. Will something extreme happen, like the life of Sif or the fate of Asgard is at stake, I can see Thor being reasonable enough to beat Hulk by any possible means (use a portal to other dimensions, use his inner divine energies, going warrior madness, using the anti-force blast which reverted Hyperion back to his original state and so on...)
That was my assessment having red all of their fights and most of Thor's comics

Not in a comic...
Not in animated movie...
Hulk always beats Thor...
It's a fact.
