Before that, I think Marvel had thor and hulk as basically complete equals in overall power, maybe thor was even more powerful at a time.

But I def get an editorial sense that today Hulk is placed higher than thor.

I'm putting this whole discussion to a stop now. Take this to PMs or another forum. The topic is Thor vs Hulk.

In a forum fight, CIS is on unless noted otherwise by the thread starter. We can't simply ignore the 40+ year history of Thor and Hulk fighting. The writers have the fights play out a certain way for a reason.

As a forum fight, the default arena is in play as well as Full Capacity/In Character. That means no civilians, property damage or needless banter and killing (if applicable). I doubt very much Thor will bust out to Hulk "yield" and "the better man has won.

You all can either try to reconcile the rules with the characters or not debate a particular poster.

What's even more funny is that the Author claimed that no one ever used Thor's own grip to wield the hammer, yet I specifically remember Rulk doing it to Thor. It just shows how much he knows about the character he is writing
