Although Im not an avid reader of Thor, I dont read Hulk all that much either (Marvel has too many titles and crossovers for characters and groups now it makes it hard for me to keep up.)

I know Im gonna get flamed for this next statement. I wont count Gray Hulk in my argument because he's one of the Hulks I don't like.

When I think of Hulk and his powers out of all the incarnations, IMO these three come to mind as being the most powerful.

Ill start out with the least of the three first.

Mindless Hulk.......About 80/20 in Thor's favor. Mindless Hulk would have to get lucky to beat Thor.

Savage Hulk.......This one is more like 50/50 maybe a little edge to Hulk but not much.

WWH........Hulk hands down.

Hulk is the one of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe falling just under cosmic entity's, but he could beat some of them also. We're talking about a character that beat Onslaught, handed Juggs his rear on a number of occasions, and held up a 150 millions tons in the Secret Wars series.

Even Thanos who has beaten Thor stated that he wouldnt wanna face the Hulk.

However, I heard that Ragnarok has happened in the MU and the only Asgardian left is Thor, and he has the Odin power. Thor and Odin's power combined into one Being would be sick. If this is true then I would give it to Thor over any Hulk incarnation. Blue Marvel, Sentry, ANY DC character, and probably most cosmic entity's.

This post is just my opinion.

As an avid Hulk and Thor reader and fan all i can do is doh

Fighting to the best of their abilities Thor wins all day everyday.

Wrong Thor/fail/go home

WWH, Onslaught Hulk, and War Hulk - Hulk wins
Any other standard incarnation - Thor wins.

yeah yeah Hulk has unlimited strength. The angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. But does he have unlimited anger? You can only get so angry (bersek, bloodlust, rage, whatever you want to call it) and that's it. you can't get any angrier than your peak berserk when your vision dims and you start seeing black spots. Theoretically, that's where hulk's strength ends. so it has limits after all.

but for argument's sake lets say that Hulk does have unlimited strength. unfortunately as far as i've seen, he doesn't get angry as soon as he gets hit. he usually either:

a. gets hit by a street-level character, thinks the hits are puny, gets irritated, then gets angry.

or

b. gets hit by a powerful enough character that can hurt him, gets dazed, shakes the effects off, then gets angry.

my point being, he doesn't instantaneously gets angry and therefore does not instantaneously gets stronger. so if he gets hit hard enough, he gets knocked out before he can get angry enough to get stronger.

so as soon as the bell for round 1 sounds, why can't thor just fly up, bombard hulk with lightning, god force blast him, then fly down and hammer hulk for good measure... all in a span of 20-30 seconds into the fight? hulk will still be at his base strength and will not have enough time to get angry and get stronger. the god force blast on its own should be enough to KO (or kill) him while he's at base strength.

a lot of people may disagree with me, but while everybody may think they're experts on the subject, true experts have already come up with their synopsis of the battle

and i don't know why we still insist on our own opinions.

Thor wins.

Hulk would win. Honestly when is the last time Hulk lost. Especially a one on one. And don't give me some scenario when a group of hero's was able to calm Hulk down, or where he just left because he didn't want to fight. Seriously, someone give me an example of when the hulk has lost.

Hulk isnt winning against thor, unless thor is fighting h2h.

He'll do good but he wont win

idk. I actually don't know what would happen, but neither would own the other it would be close

they should make a what if about that.

well if your pitting WW hulk, why not just go ahead and put RK Thor in there. its not fair to pit hulk's (arguably) strongest version against normal thor.

What again?

I see WW Hulk as above Rulk. But yeah, the writers can do whatever they hell they want and its only guesswork on our part.

Hulk gets more powerful on his own through his own power while Thor doesnt.

Thor beats regular Hulk though.

Why not? Regular Hulk isn't exactly Thor's equal.
