Alas we are in the "Comic Book Versus Forum"
what I meant was that movies are of far better quality than comics...they spend alot of money on movies and have many people look at it
a comic doesn't go through near the same process...hence often you get shitty writers writing garbage that becomes 'canon'

Once again, the comic book versus forum.

it should.Marvel made the Hulk and Thor.
If they believe that Hulk can beat Thor in a fight and show it in their most current movie, then their opinion on who is stronger is greater than any opinion of any fanboi in this forum.
movies don't count. ever. if it's not on panel and canon, then its not usable in the forum.
a movie could portray the characters as close as they should be yet they don't count
but a shitty writer could completely alter a character (sometimes not even deliberately, but rather because they don't know the character well) but that will count simply because it is canon
that's a pet peeve of mine

Too bad that the movie you're trying to use as evidence on the comic book forum, didn't even properly portray Thor.

for that reason, we go by consistent, general showings, rather than one uncharacteristic version of a character.
Originally posted by Zack Fairwhen I said movies, I meant the animated movies...which imo try to get close as possible to the source material.
lol.Movies hardly ever portray characters as close as their comicbook selves. Movies are mostly meant for the casual viewer which is why almost everything canon about characters gets flushed down the toilet.
Anyways
real life movies are complete shit.

but there are many things that simply cannot be consistent due to how few times they've been shownie. the effect of sundip on superman
thor's godblast power
etc
those are high showings. but they are still on panel. they're still canon, but aren't the general showing of superman or thor.

Movies is all about popularity, in that case hulk are more popular than thor but power wise thor are usually more powerful than any version hulk in comic period. unless it involved Loeb.
wolverine is more popular than Hulk...but he still gets his ass kicked in the movie by hulk, just as he should.
I know this doesn't mean anything and its ultimate, but I felt like posting it.

I would have posted a Hulk vs. Thor clip, but there were no good ones with one character owning the other.
Originally posted by Zack Fairthat's because Logan fought a much weaker Hulk than Thor did
Oh yeah and Wolverine put up a much better fight than Thor. Shit Hulk overwhelmed Logan in their first round and in the second Wolverine had Hulk on his knees before Weapon X got in the way, go figure.LOLZ
Logan fought a regular Hulk
Thor fought bannerless Savage Hulk
hence the difference in power level of the two hulks
