One thing I'm surprised about is that, at the end, there was a statement with the phrase "...God, in His infinite wisdom...". I would have thought it would have been changed to something like "...Mother Nature, in Her infinite wisdom...".

When we invaded Germany during the war, were we automatically the bad guys due to invasion?

What the Germans were doing was genocide and their aim was to conquer the world. Our allies needed our help, and, if we hadn't jumped in, our own country would have been in danger.

I can guarantee that if aliens did invade, things would get a lot more cooperative with governments throughout the world.
