Surfer obviously has a limit to how much energy he hold, but I've never seen him get overloaded.
Supes was overloaded when he first got his powers since he did not know what he was doing yet. Once he learned what to do, it was a different story. The overloading card wont work any more on Supes than it would on Surfer.

Tyrant - Said that Silver Surfer was the strongest: people like Gladiator, BRB , Jake of H , Morg etc were there.
Pip - Said that Silver Surfer; is there top gun: amongst those people are strange, Drax , BRB etc.
SS is serious he has defeated Captain Marvel , He later toys with Quasar , Quasar's powers can't contain him , he even defeated Champion , he toyed with Drax , Hulk’s strength couldn’t hurt him.
- SS has stated that he can do virtually anything (power cosmic) ice, fire, Intangible , manipulate matter , energy , time travel , tele , FTL , Healing , force field etc
In terms of power his is below Thanos.

He can be outside Space/time outside eternity , and he always rip/space to take shortcut through space , he does that when he needs to go to different dimensions etc.

Can he move faster than light?
Any evidence of these?

I was talking about absorption limits. Not power limits.
Is every blast that Korvak shoots, a planet destroying blast? Was he shooting planet destroying blasts at Surfer? Just curious.
No question Surfer is powerful, but compared to Glads, BRB etc, Surfer does have more of an array of powers. They better not had said anything lol.
Unless there is another fight between the 2, i dont recall Quasar trying to contain him. Nor do i remember Surfer toying with Quasar, but thats another thread.
I just ask cause Surfer has said that his powers has limits. Just wanted to know what they were.

Ripping Space = Teleportation? Supes red and Blue had it.
Faster than light = Yes, Read through the forum for the example.
Man of Steel #72. Probably caused by the "God Wave" that changed most Super-hero's powers across the DC Universe, this Dimensional Teleportation was the opening up of windows to other dimensions. Discovered and utilised by Override of the Mainframe gang, he captured and contained Superman, then brought objects from other dimensions within close proximity of Superman which would open a window into the object's dimension of origin. At first unable to control the opening and closing of these windows, Superman soon, with intense effort, managed to gain control of the ability to open and close these portals, trapping the Mainframe gang in another dimension.
There you go...Supes has similar powers.
Going between dimensions would be useless for BOTH characters in this battle.
Planet destroying attack from surfer? Still havent seen it, and still, no sweat from Supes in this form. Epoch hit him with the energy of a Red Dying Sun (supernovas put out incredible amounts of energy) and supes simply absorbed it easily.

Energy supes was easily hurt by energy siphon attacks
SS over over energy is to great even eternity give SS respect
look what happends to Energy supes with simply energy siphon attacks
can you give me issue # : of supes energy going faster than Light

There was no core. Just solid rock. Korvac created the planet to contain Surfer. It's quite obvious that the blast destroyed it.
