I get defensive because it's like people are deliberately messing with something that I’m a part of. They aren't just the latest trend for me, I mean; fall out boy is pretty much the only thing I’m good at. They’re not just swgd, they mean so much more than that. Their music is the only thing that can make everything else disappear. I know that sounds really cheesy but it's the truth, take it or leave it. Fall Out Boy is like this gang, or cult. I go to school every day and have teachers talking at me, but when I turn my music on, Fall Out Boy is talking to me. They understand me more than anyone, without even knowing me. This probably sounds stupid from an outside perspective but we all have things we're good at. Things that just make sense. Fall out boy just makes sense. They’ve opened me up to this whole new world. They’ve introduced me to this new genre of music, and made me understand and be aware of the things that are going on around me. I see life from a different angle now and I feel like I can express myself better. This may not make any sense to you and I’m not asking you to understand, but it reads as clear to me as the music coming out of the speakers. Patrick's voice is AMAZING. That boy's got a mother effing range. And Pete's lyrics are everything i've ever wanted to say but didn't know how. I'm addicted to every song they make, every word they write, every note they play. Truthfully, the love i feel for music is really just an intense form of jealousy. Jealousy over the fact that they can say what i can’t, they can express it all and make me love it. I keep it in, only to scream along to every exquisitely written line at the end of the day, and at the end of it all i couldn’t live without them.

New genre of music? You realise that absolutely nothing Fall Out Boy do, is original, right? Patrick has a meat and potatoes voice, the kind of voice that makes girls (Coincidence? No.) go "Oh he has a great voice!", he doesn't. He isn't a good singer in the truest sense of the word, he holds a note and girls wet themselves, big deal. You can be taught what he knows. He hasn't got a great range at all, do you even know what range is?
Furthermore, to say you couldn't live without a band is just really sad. Especially when it's the posterboys for the MySpace generation.

I have a feeling that Fallout Boy has some sort of subliminal message in their lyrics. It's not just xO LInds that acts like this. It's close to every girl ages 12-17 at least around me, and it's really ****ing annoying.
