Hostile, is enmity or ill will, and is usually characterized as some act not conductive to ones health.

It depends on the intent, not the act.

If your father disciplined you, it isn't necessarily hostile, because of the intention.

If your friend were to do something of the same measures, but out of spite, its most certaintly hostile.

I think the rosters should stay the same, and then additions should be made. So all the baddasses are badasses again, and all the goodydoodies stay the same as well.
