Trust me a lot of people are really mad at her however i noticed that a lot of people are very interested in this case. This is the most famous criminal case ever here. However yes they are terrible people in the US however most of them are locked for good. The only reason she is not locked up forever because all of the evidence was not brought up. So to get the bigger fish (Paul) they had to sign a deal to make Karla testify. We do have a limit of 25 years however there is some sort of special tool were they classify someone as a Dangerous offender and they can kept in for life. Thats what happened to Paul. Its just the law that you can't be tried twice same as in the US.

I agree Canadian law is a little soft.

I would say a little more then a little soft. This woman isnt a bank robber, or drug dealer, she helped rape kids. She should be locked away for 30+ years. 12 years is just insane.

OJ also isnt guilty of murder according to the American Justice System you put so much blind faith in

The problem was that she made a fool out of everyone. At that time if that deal was not made the other guy would not been convicted of the crime. The evidence to show (a video) she was involved was found after all of this. Kidrock if that video was found before she would have been in there for life like her husband Paul. We both have the same law were you can't have a trial 2nd time. It was a bad deal however at the time a decade or so ago they were was very little evidence convicting the couple so the prosecution got desperate. Almost everyone knows this trial here and i would say its the most famous.

However i don't like the fact you think we love criminals over this case. This is the most high profile case in a long long time.

I dont think Canada loves criminals, not the case at all my friend. I am just saying how the Canadian court system is crap.

we have the same loopholes as yours. This could have happened in the States as well.

They weren't technically kids, age of consent here is 14.
Also I don't think the rape is the worst of her crimes so you should really move off that aspect 👆

They're not kept in for life, it's an indeterminate sentence, meaning the courts decide when they are released, and that's more to do with paedophiles and children than anything else.

Same could be said about the American court system, with just as much validity.

true the limit is 25 years max. However in very special cases people are left longer.

Canada's most notorious female inmate was secretly spirited from prison on Monday after serving 12 years for the rapes, torture and murders of three teenage girls, including her younger sister.

In my opinion, if he's deranged, he should have been given a lot longer.

crazy canadians, not much better.

yes the americans are more sane. 😆

I think is more about having a good lawyer than having flaw laws. No country has a better law system. Sooner or later someone will figure out a way to manipulate the law for their own advantage. Who better than a skillful lawyer to accomplish that? After all a lawyer or attorney or whatever main goal is to keep his client innocent.

No, he only killed someone, and was found innocent by the flawless American justice system. Which is fine. Y'know. Because he didn't rape any kids. 😐

Ultimately I guess with a little study accusations can be made against the legal system of any nation. Canada has it's moments, like here, the U.S has it's moments, from Guantanamo Bay to O.J and Jackson, Australia recently with the way sentencing is handled, releasing rapists after bungles, England, Germany... it happens. The thing is to learn from it and try to stop such mistakes in future...

First off, Kidrock, every time you open your mouth you do the amazing by making yourself look like an even bigger misinformed fool then everyone previously thought. Bravo.

Second, Napalm, if you can't say anything remotely intelligent or funny, don't say anything at all please, you embarrass yourself.

Finally, before everyone comments on this case perhaps they should learn more about it. Yes it is wrong that she got out so early, it's a fricken' crime that it's happening. This woman met a man who was a rapist, she influenced him and and encouraged him to kidnap, rape and torture. Not only that, but she willingly participated in those events and even drugged and raped her own sister which resulted in her death.

This woman was not Paul Bernardo's unwitting accomplice or victim, she was his inspiration, teacher and full partner. The fact that she was genius enough to play the system shows that the system has to improve.

As for Kidrock using this to take a dig at Canada, it just shows your lack of class, sensitivity and intelligence.
