I think Reed Richards calculated how quickly Namor's strength leaves him out of water once...and Im pretty sure he gets way lower than 40 tons ie: when the Fantastic Four first found him and he was a hobo.

What did Reed say when he supposedly calculated how quickly Namors strength declines?

Plus when he was a hobo and Torch found him, his strength level was never stated. Namor had a severe case of memory loss.

Breaks The Pit That Holds The Flame Of Life,Overcomes The Matter Antimatter Attraction,Throws The Sub-Mariner From Key West To Miami,Leaps His Way Across The Pacific,Destroys A Huge Asteroid,Supports A Mountain On His Back. I heard it weight 150 billion tons, Throws A Gem To The Center Of A Planet. Hulk's FEATS OF STRENGTH

Im not sure....I dont have the issue with me. Its the one written by DeFalco where Reed and Namor get down pretty hard. Namor was strong when the FF found him. But just circus freak strong...he ripped phonebook in half...couldnt lift 40 tons though Im pretty sure.

Assumptions? No good here.

Well...I admit thats an assumption. But at that time Namor was depicted as a strong hobo...who managed to rip a phonebook in half. He was also picked up and thrown by the human torch...Im not going to argue about it. But I dont think the depiction was in the 40 ton level.

Well he wasnt thrown. More like dropped. Plus like i said, Namor didnt even know who he was. If he were to be presented with a big feat, im sure he would rise to the occasion.

In the Namor series, he was out of water for 6 months and had memory loss as well. When time came for him to use some of his strength, he did it with no problems. was it 40 tons? No, but after 6 months weight wasnt a issue still. If he had to lift something 40+ tons, im sure he would do it with no problems.

well...if u havent noticed...we r both assuming here. But Ive interpreted from the depiction of the artists who created the comic where Namor returned with the help of the FF, that Namor was weaker than lifting 40 tons at the time.

Here is your Class 100+
Savage hulk, War hulk, Maestro Hulk, Immortal hercules, Thor, Rune King Thor, Destroyer, Ulik, Gladiator, Hyperion I,III,IV, Mangog, Beta ray bill, The Champion of the universe,Odin, Zeus, The runner, Silver surfer, thanos, forgotten One, Abomination, Classic juggernaut, Count nefaria, Morg, 8th day juggernaut, godstalker, The classi magus(adam darkseid),The Sentry, Wonderman, Kurse, Perrkius, Pagan, tyrant, onslaught, binary, gaea, the maker (beyonder), superman, wonderwoman, captain atom, captain marvel, black adam, the general, doomsday, darkseid, kalibak, solomon grundy, eradicator, cyborg superman (henshaw), cronus (zeus father), major force, ultraman, general zod, despero, yuga khan, gog.

I agree with the list above, except........Abomination low level? At least mid. Hes quite stronger than current Juggernaut.

About Namor hes never portraited as class 85. Not even the Thing is nowadays. Thats too low. Hes mid to top level for me when he is soaked. How much weaker he gets after staying out of water, its anyone`s guess unless it was actually stated by someone in a comic.

Handbooks stance and sites. I dont take them, they are practically all the time innacurate compared with the comics. They also say Zeus and Odin are really below in strenght of theyr sons and yet without amping, they delivered total beatings everytime they went against them. I agree in fact with Darkone stance. They are high class 100 and can amp to more. While Thor and Herk cant.

I also cant take Kalibak, post crisis any serious, like Darkseid. By theyr portraits they are somewhat around class 90 at best. Getting always served when you face someone of the top class, and sometimes even quite easily doesnt allow them, in my opinion to be that high.

Going by the marvel system despite its faults if you ignore the numerical values attached to levels 6 and upwards you have a system which helps distinguish the powerhouses from the titans, thiose with virtually immeasureable strength. Im talking about Hulk, Thor and immortal Hercules. Those who can lift monumental things. That is why Namor along with other class 100 powerhouses such as She hulk are put in level 6. Thats fair enough.
