I don't think the fight would be close at all. Remove the helmet, and Hector's as good as dead.

Well, if I go by what jrod says, it's impossible to remove his helmet.....

Magic protects the helmet. Any form of magic can be overcome by more powerful magic. Strange isn't going to try to wrestle it from him. With a spell from the Vishanti, that thing is as good as off.

Strange has way more magical resources. I don't see it as a close fight, even if Fate keeps the helmet.

The Vishanti isnt more powerful than Spectre. Thats the only one ive seen somewhat get it off.

Spectre is above magic.

I argued that, saying while wrapped in the Cyttorak Bands, it'll come off.

He was saying something like nothing short of presence powered Spectre can get it off.

Every theory of how Strange would win I've ever read had to do with the helmet being taken off, so it sounded fishy to me too.

Bands of Cyttorakk isnt a sure victory for Strange. Namor has broken out of the bands of Cyttofak before. Ill try to do the research and find the comic and issue # for ya.

And waht comic are you reffering to?

Namor has, and so has Hulk. But not while Strange wanted them there.

Hulk broke them when Strange was unconcious, Namor broke them when Strange was fighting someone else.

The narrator said something to the effect of "The bands are unbreakable....only when concentrated upon!" then Namor breaks them.

As long as Strange is concentrating on the bands, they are unbreakable.

Namor notices the bands fading as Strange is being occupied, then the narrator speaks, then Namor breaks them.

Hulk's time was the same, they faded, Hulk noticed, he broke them while Strange was K.O'd.

Galactus couldn't even break them while Strange concentrated.

Incredible Hulk #450. Namor the Sub-Mariner broke out of them Marvel Team-Up V2 #8.

Yeah, as long as he concentrates noone can get out. In a recent Defenders comic, Hulk tried to get out and failed--then he pretended that he had calmed down.

Strange made the bands dissolve, and Hulk promply smashed him--giving him a concussion. I was LMFAO.

If the power of Nabu is Egypt mythology based then there are a lot of powerful egyptian gods/goddess , say, Ra, Seth, Horus , etc...

So prep plays an important role, and these are GODS in battle, so they have Millenias of prep time !!!
