The treatment I get is no different than the treatment you or any other member who has been here for an extended period of time. I'm not "untouchable" and by all means I wouldn't be surprised if Lil B dropped a 3 day ban just to prove a point.

It's sick and abusive, the creators are leeches, and the admirers are the lice on their hides. Indulging yourself in this sort of 'entertainment' should be viewed and punished as a crime. The creators deserve a far, far more hellish fate, and I can think of various manners to send their butts into the clutches of the Red Guy himself. Hell will be a relief when I'm done with you b!tches who get of watching the poor and innocent suffer.

I always tell them i am on my way to get somthing to eat, and offer them to join me. I have done this maybe 20 or thirty times. Most times the person just says no thank you, i was going to get somthing somewhere else. Only four times has someone been humble and said i would appreciate that. On those occasions i give the person some money.

Yes, it has been found that there is a specific gene that shows if you have the predisposition to addictive tendencies (which is why addiction tends to run in families). Dr Drew Pinskey, an addictionologist of more than 20 years says, "The disease of addiction is defined as a genetic/biological disorder in which there is progressive use or preoccupation with a substance in the face of at-risk consequences." You were able to make the conscious decision to quit - you're lucky. an addict would not be able to.

not sure what this has to do with addiction, but even Texaco, British Petroleum/Amoco, Shell Oil, Ford Motor Company, and Daimler Chrysler have acknowledged global warming as a threat despite the fact that curbing global warming would harm their businesses.

I agree with that, yes. But even with my agreement, i still think they should not be selling merchandise such as Bumfighting. That's just as bad as retards fighting. People have lost their morals these days. Quite pathetic, if you ask me.

It still boils down to a conscious decision. It may be harder for these people to refrain from drugs or any other addictive substance, but they still posses every human element of self awareness. You say an addict doens not have the ability to make a conscious decision to quit. So how do they quit, divine intervention? At drug rehabs, one of the first things they tell you, is that you will not quit using unless you want to. Doesnt this negate every god damn theory of addiction being a disease?
As for global warming, i was only using that to show how much of a farce that i believe alcoholism being a disease is. There is no scientific proof that our pollutants is causing global warming. temperatures have only been catalogued for about the last hundred or so years. So what basis are we going off of? Statistics of a hundred years.
I totally agree that the bum fight premise is terrible and immoral, but the bums need to be held accountable as well. Not knowing if the bums in bum fights suffered from a mental illness kind of makes that aspect invalid. I was never trying to belittle the people who actually suffer from legitimate external and internal problems. I do however, believe that many homeless people stay that way because of loss of drive and ambition. that is no excuse.
