Elitist, no. You're opinion isn't as valid because you've chosen to segregate yourself from the rest of the forums. Self-imposition is precisely that, and should you chose not to participate in other forums is up to you, in turn, lacking awareness of said forums need for maintenance.

More people are unsure or indifferent than happy. Besides, not everyone that's participated in the actual thread, voted, and vice versa.

Fantastic, I encourage everyone to actively participate in all forums of KMC, especially the Movie Discussion forums, where you'll be guaranteed a plesant posting experience.

You shouldn't take anything I say personal, it's just that I'm looking for some veteran users to speak up. If you've got issues with singular forums, especially right off the bat joining KMC, let us know here, as well. All I meant is that you can't necessarily speak for the forums overall due to inexperience.

(The Comic Book Forums are one of the busiest, but also the most complained about/reported aside from the OTF)

I belong to lots of forums, on the net, I like this one, it is well regulated and generally has sensible mods. I take nothing you say personally as I understand the distinction between the net and reality. I have no issues as I have been using the web since about 93, and I understand it pretty well.😄
I hope you take nothing I say personally, I am just concerned that the "stupidity" of the "Kids" posts will be seen as crimes.

It's pretty lax here, but there are times where it just doesn't lend itself too well to the overall appeal of the forums, which in turn makes the Administration bad.

I think the place is just fine. OTF is a lot better since Mir left.

i think that part about merging SW and cleaning up some of the forums is rather good...

things seem to be everywhere and all over the place now,don't you think?i'm not really good with dealing with specifics and stuff,but i feel we should group together some forums,like someone (don't quite remember who) said earlier...

Merge philosophy and put it under philosophy and science.Or merge Religon and philosophy and make a science forum.

Isn't the idea of forums to post your thoughts (ignorant or not) as long as they
fit in the topic being discussed?

Sometimes I think the mods are a little too heavy-handed with their actions,
but not always.

As for harassing newcomers, I didn't really experience that myself but I have
seen it go on. If someone makes a redundant thread, politely tell them so.
If they have questions, politely answer them if you're able.

Attacking people from the safety of your parents' house to make yourself feel
big is pathetic and annoying.

I agree it would be very confusing for us. I think all the forums are OK but they aren't great.

The one thing i really dislike about KMC is Deano (not him in person just what he can od to threads).The problem is Deano comes in pastes somthing from some cockoo website gives no evidence to support what it says and then says thats the truth accept it or you are just a sheep!And as consequence the rest of the thread is devotied to attacking Deano not disscussing the original topic.

I say destroy the OTF, and wipe everyone's memory of it.
