Mikkari is the guy who makes fast vehicles, that shit surprised me to say the least, out of no where he becomes faster than speed itself.

It's possible Runner wasn't trying still, but Mik says himself(don't know how he'd know) that he became speed itself, as fast as speed can go.

The real question is could he do it again?

But what is "speed"? there IS no limit to how fast something can go. "speed itself" is a non-term. Speed is a measurement. That's like saying, "I'm the tallest person in the universe because I'm as tall as height itself". Doesn't make sense.

We don't know if there is a limit or not.

So then we can't say that you can't go faster than speed itself any more than we can say you can't grow taller than height itself, right?

height is an measurement, there is no such thing as height-itself !! Same as no such thing as speed-itslef !!!!

Such measurement can not be given such "embodiment", unlike Death or Eternity which are the embodiment the state of 'non-living' and the state of 'forever-living'

Well, I'm pretty tall......possibly taller than height itself if I stand on my tippy toes.

Eternals manipulate cosmic energy much like the elders do though generally to a lesser degree. I can see Makkari discovering some new technique that the Runner hadn't pulled yet. The Runner has millions of years of experience though. Whatever Makkari came up with after training on that planet full of super-fast creatures for those few months, now that the Runner knows it's possable he literally would not rest until he had mastered or exceeded it.

I don't think speed has a limit, when Makkari said he become speed itself, I think it means more like "I've reached my ultimate speed", HIS own limit, not the Runner's not anyone's else !!

So now we know Makkari's limt, but Runner's limit........... is still yet to be discovered...

I think Runner just jobbed a little there, he doesn't have millions of years experience, he has billions.

He doesn't "run fast", he bends reality and space to turn normally immense distances into small areas.

Runner can turn a billion lightyears into a few feet, basically making him look fast.

Also, he's an empath, he forces people to like him even if he's trying to kill them.

He would be as fast on earth than he is in space, the JLA couldn't even begin to counter him.

If he bends reality, why does he calls himself the Runner ??

Runner's speed abilities are boosted from his ability to bend time and space, but without using them long pig he's still faster than guys like Silver Surfer, he's THE speedster.
His strenght and invulnerability plus energy projection mixed with his reflexes are something the JLA should pray to do not face in battle.
Runner outmatch them in every sector.
But I'm still waiting for Batman fanboys saying his raging dog jumping kick can K.O. the runner.
