Runner won't get touched by any of them. He's lightyears ahead of Wally, and he can manipulate the fabric of space itself. Add that to the Power Primordial, and the Infinity Space Gem, and the sheer ownage factor is incalculable.Unless Batman manages to get in a good kick, the JLA is screwed.
Ohhhhhh batman's kick, I forgot about that
😉
They aren't doing anything to him, considering his durability, but the fact is, they will be statues compared to Runner. He could shrug off an attack from any of them, but if he doesn't want them touching him, he could simply manipulate the space between them. But that doesn't matter, since none of them would realize he's there, or be able to see him.
The only way the JLA could possibly pull off a victory is if Batman kicks Runner, defeating him.
To clarify, the Runner only started spacewarping after he got the Space Gem. Prior to that, his ability to warp space was limited to pushing against empty space with his feet. With the Space Gem he could warp space to travel shorter distances than he'd otherwise have to, and would sometimes subconciously teleport. Just like Moondragon retained her TK after loosing her Gem, he has retained the ability to warp space, but that's not how he runs so fast to begin with. He really does just move that quickly. If he was all spacewarps, he wouldn't have been able to clobber the surfer the way he did. If he'd chosen to warp space, he would've beaten Makkari in the Galactic Marathon; but that would have been cheating. If we ever see the Universal Marathon, I expect the Runner to take the rematch.
In a fight, he's not unbeatable but the League would have to come up with something really creative to not just get clobbered. Even Superman would be outmatched by someone who can physically push his own body faster than light (Theoretically, that would require infinite energy. Thankfully, the Power Primordial provides just that).
It'd be hilarious to see something like Plasticman getting caught up in his legs like spaghetti in an eggbeater stop him. The League could win, but not by taking him head on.

I suppose, but we've never met The Weightlifter in all the Elders stories. Only a few of the Elders have developed cosmic energy powers to a significant degree, and then only as they happenned to coincide with their various obsessions. Only the Grandmaster has been able to develop his power for general purpose applications, and boy did he. He can create sentient life from nothing!
Apart from Champion, Runner, and Grandmaster, most of them aren't as personally impressive. Even Obliterator and Possesor are very reliant on tools for their powers.
Of course you were. 😉
They all have amped bodies to some degree. The Collector certainly isn't the feeble old man he looks like. My point was, none of the Elders pursue strength qua strength. The Champion is basically the strongest (though the Runner is the greater all-around athlete) because strength is very important to his focus on combat. Just the same his focus is combat, not strength for it's own sake. Champion is not sufficiently devoted to strength alone to tap the power for strength to that degree.
If there were an Elder who survived antiquity by being so devoted to his own strength that he taps into the primal essence of creation and lives forever, then that guy would have something like limitless strength. Champion should still beat "Weightlifter" in a fight though.
If he could touch him... But he can't. Runner would pull a Flash on Flash. He's just that fast.
And to clarify for my friend the C Master, Batman=God batman, not the Batkick. The Batkick is the embodiment of God's (Batman) anger. It is the primal force of destruction in the omniverse. None may stand before its might, save Batman himself. (though he is the only one powerful enough to wield it) Hope we can all see the difference now. 😉
