It could be a new char

Hey everyone who read the book already.....I found some very moving music which seems to match the mood exactly during

Spoiler:
Dumbledore's funeral.

Rememberance
(Hoping that the damned address works)

That is beautiful music! cry

SPOILORS!!

I dunno how to add spoiler warnings sorry.

I reckon snape is still on the right side. Remember the unbreakable vow? If malfoy failed to kill dumbledore (which he did) then snape must kill him. I think dumbledore pleaded at snape to kill him so snape could keep up pretences and stay a spy. This came into my head right after dumbledore died. i mean come on, like dumbledore would beg for mercy!!!

Exactly what I thought.

We figured that out days ago.

He kills Dumbledore, and you say he's on Harry's side still? 😑

Maybe Dumbledore told Snape to kill him or something. There must be a reason why he trusted Snape that much.

"Okay, okay, Severus. Here's the deal. I need you to kill me."
"But - "
"It's OK, just do it."
"But - "
"No arguments."

Yeah, I can really see Dumbledore telling Snape to kill him. 🙄

hahah nice one DarkCanadian...

ehem back to business... After finishing the book and after drying all my tears... I went in shock I mean im still in shock😱 ...this book...was....emm...unexpected... This is the first Harry Potter book that left me with a little sting of disappointment🙁 ...First off...

I cant believe Harry broke up with ginny that was one of the saddest part of all...cant accept it..no...uh uh...no way! She should have said " No Harry I dont care, ill be with you always no matter what even if Voldemort does kill me, ill die happy cause i know i did it for you!!"..no? ok sorry guys got a little emotional there...🙄

Snape you dirty BIG bastard (and an extension of all the things i want to say but could only find being bastard the only pretty word right now) You should rot in hell with voldy...no wait.. hell will spit you back for being so evil and killing the greatest wizard of all time( Dumbly R. I. P, we love ya)...cant still soak what he did...thats part of the shock

Ron why didnt you friggin kissed Hermy!? damn you had lots of chances what r u wating for? your moms blessing?....But after all, it was good seeing more clearly that they really love each other but arent ready for it now...its ok ill pass that one...😛

Each book that goes by it gets more and more tragic...this one being the most tragic and unexpected of all...I cant imagine the least what is in store for Harry, Ron and Hermione(probably Ginny, which i doubt) in book 7...Rowling has proved herself a magnificent writer but please back off on the tragicnesss it caused me a whole box of kleenex last night and a still runny nose and some mental problems cause you messed with my head with that book😠... It was great but i felt like it changed the happy magical world(book 6 n 7 should be rated PG-13 cause i couldnt imagine myself at twelve reading that...i would have cried worse and tore the book in half, nasty temper i had) and now the last book is gonna be darker than all the books, probably no Hogwarts so no subejects in school no happy moments, more wars, so more deaths, and a journey to the dark and dangerous road to kill Voldemort and the "priiiince"(damn them).

Oh gosh didnt realize i wrote this much...sorry if I bored you but i had to write some of it down or ill explode( and believe me not a pretty sight) plz write back and express how you feel... I NEED MORAL SUPPORT!! 😱

So closed minded...

Hagrid overheared dumbledore and snape arguing, maybe because dumbledore was telling him he might have to kill him.

Also if snape didn't kill him snape would have died because of the unbreakable vow.

And notice the choise of words dumbledore used?
He didn't say 'Severus no' or 'severus don't' he said 'Severus.. Please'.

Im sticking to this theory, SNAPE FOREVER!

well crying while he killed him might have made it a bit obvious don't you think?

So you still think he's a spy for the good side even though he murdered Dumbledore and every single one of Dumbledore's followers wants his entrails to be slung up and paraded around the castle?

And why did Slughorn call Ron 'Rupert'?

He called Ron Rupert because he (even though he is a teacher) doesn't remember his name too well, considering the fact as he didn't find him inpressive.

Oh okay....I thought it might be a mistake on JKR's part thinking about Rupert Grint.

re snape remember the oath with Dracos mother though it was either finish Dracos task for him or he would die, he was saving his own skin

but then again Luna has a very good point 😄

i love harry potter... jkr is very talented although i have 2 admit that this book woz a bit of a letdown from the previous 5, to me it seemed rushed and we didnt reeli get 2 know the new characters and that the plot woz a little thrown together at last minute kindov thing, but i reeli shudnt b complainin coz i still luved it !!!!!!

i don't like who the half-blood prince is

I am totally on Snape's side. Yes, he's a big ol jerk, but I still think he's one of the good guys. He did what he had to do and risked his own life to save the student that he loved the most...just as Dumbledore would have done for Harry.

He was saving his own skin, but more than that, he was saving Draco's skin. Draco would have been killed had Snape not stepped in. I do think Dumbledore knew what Snape had to do. Snape was his spy and Dumbledore was no fool. He knew that Snape used the truth to both spy on Dumbledore and on Voldemort. It was the only cover he could use.

Snape didn't like Harry, ever, but he knew that Harry was important and he protected him, as well as Professor Flitwick and whichever two kids were outside of Snape's office when he knocked Flitwick out. He also protected Draco. And instead of continuing the fight, he called the Death Eaters to retreat. He didn't want anyone else to be hurt.

Snape is a good guy...he really is.

I really liked all the clues that were left in this book to guide us into the next book. JKR is so clever in her placement of events and objects. This book was fantasic, though book 5 was my favorite. This book showed what the last book didn't. It showed the characters being kids, being human. They are all in the age where hormones rage and they kinda get sucked into this self-absorbed world. They kinda ignored that in the last book, but they did show it in this one and I'm glad Harry and his friends are showing more of a real side.
