Movies are best in summer, why I don't know, but they always release 'blockbusters' between May-August, and only the occational 'year-ending' movie. Music because teenagers are home from school, and are the 'usual' aimed crowd with music, depending on the band/singer/rapper/whoever/whatever.

Just don't start the rap bashing, or we will have a problem, I haven't said anything about music, except summer being the best time for release.

I've known about this game since last year! Let's all be prepared for 2008, it'll probably be out then...

Why is it normal for companies to do this? They shouldn't say a release date until it's for keeps! I'm not relaxed, I can't help it, then again I am a 16 year old... 🙄 but it just gets me mad, saying this & that then it changes...

Games get pushed back for who knows what reasons, maybe this is for presales, maybe for development time, who knows at the actual core except Nintendo themselves. I'm sure that's what they are telling the public is 'more depth' that is purely for more presales and people to turn their heads toward the game for when it is released, but I'm just going with the flow. They can do anything they want, since they are releasing the game, but to be fair, a game that is delayed a MONTH or TWO, is PURELY for more presales, thats just inevitable regardless. I was talking about myself at 16 because that is how I was, who knows how old half of you are and act about it.

Zelda hasnt gone gold yet, so officialy its not done.
Also, most games are pushed back because a: a killer bug needs to be fixed b: its not up to standards or c: its not done due to the overzealous execs. aka Gabe Newall from Valve.

And by the way, presales are for the actually store, not the developers. They still get the money anyways.

Half-Life 2, they TOLD us why it got delayed, someone hacked half the game's coding and they had to RE-DO it, that was reasonable.

Duke Nukem is never coming out that's it.

Doom 3 who knows, but it should of come out years ago to be good like the others.

None of us have any idea what it is like to be using computers/the consoles to edit/make/finalize games, but I'm sure we've all seen a couple 'behind-the-scenes' 'making-of's' games/movies/whatever. It takes long enough nowadays to do things, even with pc software getting better, so is gaming technology. It takes months to finish up music cds, movies have many stages obviously, and games are the exact same way. They have to storyboard it all, use computers for visuals, test everything through computers/the console, environments, you name it. Even after it's finished, they need to make duplicates, for however many people need to test it for bugs, lagging, gameplay errors, everything, before it can be mass produced and released to the public.

We need to be logical here and assume the game is close to being finished and being edited with new features, and being debuged right now. It's better they called for the delay now, rather than November when it would be out in a week or so. I never said it had gone gold, if you look at what I said in some views it IS 'finished', but however many people need to debug/test it from beginning to end, before the final shipping process can be done.

I just wish it would hurry up!

Well actually, your forgetting the delay before that happened. HL2 was suppose to be out that summer, not after Sept.
And Duke Nukem is coming out. Why dont believe it wont.

But your comments earlier stated that the reason they're delays is to get more presales, not because of testing and bugs. Do you really want me to get your quote for you?

The point is money no matter what way you spin it. They are doing this to make more money by making people wait longer to get it.

I am pumped for this new Zelda game. I saw a video for it on this demo disc for Gamecube, and the graphics look beautiful! Also, might I add, the plot looks extremely interesting.

Knowing about something & knowing you have to wait a long time, gets under my skin. But, like I said at least it's to make more improvements. They're making improvements, not delaying it for money.

I think they are doing for both reasons. But you are right is hard to wait when you know how long it is going to take. That is if they do not delay the game again.

I thing is they realised it for public review and I did not here one bad thing about it. It said that it is a darker story, on of the bast Zelda games yet, and that it has some of the best play.

The first trailer is the opening of the game, but I do not know where.

Well they have people playing it right there in front of you. If they could let people play it then why are they delaying it! It is making me mad. Most of all when I saw that clip of the game play.

I think that it looks the best of the Zelda games. It sure sounds like it. The graphics look incredible.
