The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I agree, though I have to admit I rushed a tad on my first playthrough, because the story, for once, was actually dragging me along.

Now that I'm exploring more on my second play, it's definitely taking longer.

36 hours. 😄

Loved the game, absolutely brilliant. My only complaint is with the story, especially towards the end.

Spoiler:
I love that Ganondorf was in the game and that he was the true main baddie, bu I would of loved some build up, some cool scenes between Link and Ganon to build towards the finale. Instead it was "Hi, ill be your villain todayy, lets fight 4 times."

But aside from that, I loved the storyline.

people are stupid. hey, lets rush through a game thats built around a lot of sidequests and then complain how short it is.

Some people just want to spend $50-$60 then blow through the game just to say they completed it. I admit to not doing every side-quest in games these days, but I spend a bulk of my time alternating between side-quests and main plot areas of the game.

same here, though, I got sucked into the plot alot...

theres too many, you cant do them all.

Yeah, I loved Midna, she's the best new character the series has seen in a very long time, but I didn't like that

Spoiler:
Ganondorf and Zelda really felt tacked on. You meet Zelda a grand total of 3 times, and two of those Link's a dog. Come on. And though the final battle was awesome, they pretty much pulled an FFVIII on Ganny there.

For Christ sake, a spoiler warning would have been great 😠

I apologise.

Oh, hell yes you can! If I can do all the side-quests in Oblivion, anyone sure as hell can in TP!

If anything, there's not enough sidequests in TP... A couple huge ones, but not a bunch like in WW or MM.

So aside from being short( 😂 ) what was wrong?

Gannon and Zelda almost had nothing to do with the game. This is probably the most disapointing Zelda out there. I was expecting so much.

But you mainly just went through the story, and don't give me the "Well I fixed the bridge crap" I did more of the side quests, and it bumped my time up. ypu MUST take in to account that Shigeru and Company were consitering the Side-quests also.

Just tell me, How many bomb bags do you have?
How many bottles?
Haw many Heart containers did you find?
Did you do the baloon game on the river?
did you hunt for the Golden Incets?
How many fish did you catch?
How many Poe's did you find?
Did you turn the Gold Guy (Can't remember his name) normal again, by finding enough poes?
Do you know where you can find the Great farie's tears?

When you have done all that, and the rest, then you can complain about the length of the game!

((Oh, now it lets me edit this one))

I hardly consider inventory items side quests. Side quests shouldnt be listed for quality hours either. This is probably the shortest system Zelda out there.

No, the story alone makes TP far longer than the other 3D Zeldas excepting WW (with all the travel and padding, and even then I'm not sure of the exact length). I can easily beat OoT in under 7 hours, with mild sidequesting. The fact that the main quest alone takes at least 30 hours is quite a feat.

And for those completionists, or for people like Nactous complaining they beat the game too fast...

A completion list! (some sidequest spoilers in list) When you can check off everything there, then you can complain there isn't enough game.

yay The Wii & Zelda are out in Australia this thursday 🙂

I'm there! *Gets a plane to Australia.* 😱 Oh...wait, it's out Friday anyway, lol, but won't get it yet...

There haven't been any Wii's available in two shops to pre-order. One didn't even have any yet & other ran out. My mum says she wants to wait a little because might do deal, but so near to xmas, think they'll do it like the next week it's out. And besides, they might not have any left by xmas... 🙁

Anyone saw the Twilight Princess advert? Looks good. There's about 3-4 similar ones. It shows a man playing on it & using the Wii Nunchuck too. Looks soooo fun! 😊

I have done Almost ALL of Oblivions, but anyway, you can ALWAYS do all the sidequests in Zelda.

*Prepairs for war!!!*

Spoiler:
Just because this Game was centered more around Link and Midna does not make this the largest dissapointment of ALL ZELDA GAMES. I honestly didn't expect Ganon to have the hugest part in the game, anyway, because of Zant, and the twilight! TP was one tof the beter Zelda Games, you are ONLY dissappointed because you rushed through the story and didn't take the time to enjoy the game! SO STOP BASHING IT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T TAKE THE TIME TO ENJOY IT!

Don't forget who I am Nac.

Who's bashing it? Who!? No way, they just can't! No one's even played the game yet, unless they've gone to a gaming event...but not enough to enjoy it that much, but if you're a Zelda fan then you'll be hooked the moment you place your hands on the controller. *Coughmecough*. 😂

You do realize that the game has been released in America right?

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Yeah, it's been out in America for... a while. Several of us Americans in this thread have already beaten it. I'm well into my second playthrough.

JLRTENJAC, no need to be picking fights, man.
