I always did... Money was never a problem for me in TP... Too much in chests.

I accidentally didnt pay him. I thought it would deduct automatically.

They are more confusing then OoT's original dungeons, but not as difficult as the Master Quest dungeons. The mini-boss in Snow peak Ruins REALLY irritated the hell out of me, he killed me like 5 times, that battle was so hard to me.

for me i think it's probably more to do with the fact that since OoT, all the zelda games can be solved using the same method of thinking the problems through and as such it's easier to figure out the puzzles, dungeons and boss tactics than it was when OoT first came out because we weren't used to approaching the zelda games with a particular mindset then....most likely because of going from 2d to 3d

i'm not entirely sure i've explained it very well but i hope you can see what i mean

You just put money in the box... Even when he's attacking you.

I liked the whole bird thing... Brought me back to the Link's Awakening days.

Well yeah, they ARE meant to make you think, every dungeon since LA, and LTTP has done that. LoZ had walk-in-the-park dungeons to me.

i have to admit though it was soooooooo funny stealing from him! 😄 omg the first time it was by mistake and he kept pecking me so i ran...now its like dip dip run...dip dip run...my friend died trying to pay him he pecked her to death 🙂 . But i guess now that i kno i start paying him 😮

yeah but what i mean is the style of the dungeons hasn't really changed since OoT...the leap from 2d to 3d allowed the makers put a different angle to figuring out the dungeons and boss tactics....these haven't changed considerably since and so even though the dungeons may be completely different...the way you tackle them is pretty similar and so they're easier to solve than when OoT first came out

Well, you can't say that for the Forest Temple that's for sure. Honestly, I didn't see myself having to find eight or ten (I forgot the total) MONKIES to get to the final rooms before the boss.

essentially not really different from freeing the gorons in death mountain in OoT...

i thought the forest temple in WW was difficult because if you fell you ended up at the bottom and had to find your way back up

the one dungeon from TP that had me thinking a bit was the water temple....

I found Lakebed to be the easiest one, and least confusing, weird. I'm in City In The Sky right now.

I'm in the City in the Sky...but this is my second play through so I already know what to do but just can't remember where to do it at.

I just beat the game, though not 100% yet. Took me about 35 hours.

My biggest complaint is that the game was really easy. Very few of the puzzles were all that challenging, and you could literally run right past a fair amount of the enemies.

One thing I really liked was the sword combat, particularly late in the game, when you have a huge arsenal of moves and are fighting enemies with shields and armor.

It took me 34 hours on my second play through, and thats rushing to go as fast as I could possibly go, and knowing exactly what to do. People who beat this game in under 45-50 hours in their first play through are severely rushing it.

I beat it, but I didn't get a good idea of how long it took, because I would leave it paused for a long period of time,
But now I'm going back and attempting to get all the secrets.

I was having kittens the first time I saw a Goron.

"HEEHEEHEEHEEHEEE!"

😕 I beat the game in 38 on my first, and I went around looking for hearth pieces and poes/bugs.... 😕

i found goron mines the easiest by far..the most annoying one is the arbiters grounds in my opinion..

My first play through was 76 hours, I'm at 83 hours on that save file currently and I'm still missing 19 poes and 4 heart pieces. That being said I spent A LOT of time doing nothing in this game, just wandering around looking through every nook and cranny of the game, admiring the scenery and riding Epona because thats what Zelda is all about...Exploring the vast world of Hyrule. I think I prolly clocked at least 20 hours just screwing around in my first playthrough.

I beat it! *END GAME SPOILERS*

The final sword fight with Ganon was so simple, I got the Finishing Blow in two "chance" rounds. His Beast form gave me the hardest challenge. The horseback fight and Zelda with the Light Arrows was a direct memory of Wind Waker to me, and Zelda as Ganon's Puppet reminded me of OoT with the deflecting the energy balls back.

What was the deal with the dungeons being so short toward the end? Hyrule Tower barely took me any time at all. Artiber's Grounds was the longest and hardest for me, followed by Snowpeak Ruins.

The ending is great, I'm glad Midna was able to become a human again. I was like "WTF" though when Link just smiled after she asked if she is too beautiful. lol What's the deal with the no end save either, why just go back to Hyrule Castle all over again?

The ending is pretty great too.

It doesn't dethrone LTTP/LA to me, (IMO the best entries to the series), but it knocks OoT out of second place (IMO) I did every sidequest expect all 60 Poes. I assume after fighting Ganondorf, I ended at 53 hours. I loved this game, I am so glad I got a Wii for it.
