My first play through was 76 hours, I'm at 83 hours on that save file currently and I'm still missing 19 poes and 4 heart pieces. That being said I spent A LOT of time doing nothing in this game, just wandering around looking through every nook and cranny of the game, admiring the scenery and riding Epona because thats what Zelda is all about...Exploring the vast world of Hyrule. I think I prolly clocked at least 20 hours just screwing around in my first playthrough.
Well I did do that, not 20 hours though! 😛 But that's what I love to do in Zelda, but the thing about me is that I kinda get frustrated when I haven't completed a game, and I really wanna get the feeling away that I haven't completed it yet. That kinda leaves it at "you can play whenever you want" feeling, instead of having to complete it.
Now I have everything in the game, so now I only do that when I play. Love it!
I've started a new game on the Wii version, since the first time I played was on my Gamecube, and it's very fun and new because the Wii version is mirrored from the GC version. It's like a whole new game to me.
Currently, I am about to begin the Lakebed Temple, but I am trying like ****ing mad to beat the Roll Ball game at the Fishing Hole shop. This is so damn hard, but for some reason I can't stop trying to beat all the levels of difficulty. I am presently stuck at level 7 difficulty, and it's kinda frustrating to try to angle the Wii-mote just right. My goal, of course, is to get the Frog Lure as the prize for beating the mini game, and then I can try to catch the Hylian Loach from the pond.
I'm currently in the Arbiter's Grounds, and it's fun to use the Wii-mote to manuever the spinner. After I beat the Arbiter's Grounds, I plan to find as many heart pieces, Poes, and gold bugs as I can since I obtained a used strategy guide from a friend who let me borrow it. Then, I'll trek further into the actual story line.
Do any of u know whether or not there is a Heart pieces in Hyrule Castle? I finished Twilight Palace some time ago and have spent time fishing, trying roller ball etc and collecting hearts. I now have 19 full hearts and 4/5 of the last heart, is the last piece by any chance in Hyrule Castle? Or am I doomed to search through all of creation once again?
This games just continues to impress me.
I've been playing since Nov and still have yet to complete it.
So many temples and side quests, it really is HUGE. And its SO fun.
I'm barely moving statues to complete the sky writing or something, now I hear there's another temple? They really put allot of work into this game, now I know why it was delayed so long, its genius.
The new Zelda specifically designed for the Wii should be amazing.
Awh, look at Kevin P sleeping with his Wii.
Well, I'm at the Water Temple (I've been busy, yes, I know I'm not exactly keeping up with everyone else...) and I have to say I'm rather disappointed. It just doesn't have the "umph" of Ocarina of Time. Alot of things just turn me off for some reason.
But then again, there's not much that can compete with the pure majesty of Ocarina of Time, so maybe I shouldn't hold it against it.
Has anyone noticed that the chickens don't swarm you now when you attack them?! You just gain temporary control of the chicken! That's just WRONG!
