The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I don't believe this...I want a Wii! I saw that on play.com they're selling Wii's at £399! 😮 Why? I saw a trailer too & the final boss (even though I wasn't suppose to because it ruins it, but I haven't got the game or Wii yet) & so want this game so bad everytime I see something of it!

Mechandise such as Wii's aren't suppose to increase in price are they? They're either suppose to stay the same or go down, but it could be because people are willing to pay like £500 for them, so they've gone up...stupid people have encouraged them, damn you! ~_~

Well u can at least take reassurance of knowing that the Water Temple was the worst of all the Temples, so u have already seen the lowest point of the game.

Why does the Water Temple always suck in LoZ games...?

🙁

Water Temple in OoT was one of my favorites. Except that if you forgot a key somewhere, you wouldnt realize it until a half hour later, when you had to backtrack and figure out where it was

yeah, it was always the one under the platform in a central column. the one surrounded by spikes where you had to put on iron boots and plummet just right. I fricken hate the water temple. Out of curiosity, was it even more of a pain in the ass in master quest?

In Master Quest, it wasn't so much more frustrating than it was having to relearn the redesigned layout. I was used to the normal layout and didn't have to backtrack at that point, so the Master Quest change was like a completely different temple.

I personally just don't really like the parts in this game where you play as the wolf. I wish there was more Link action and less Twilight zone stuff, but hey, it's still a great game!

it's actually not too bad in TP. The Goron mines were a much bigger pain in the ass for me.

But what i have recently noticed about it, is that Armaghoma is more repulsive than anything i've seen in a game. And that includes anything in Metroid.

And another thing, when Link changes back into a Hylian, has anyone else noticed that it looks like Midna dives right into his ass? I mean that just adds so much more meaning to the ending.

Also the gamecube version is the definitive version. no question.

Haha, I loved the Goron Mines, they were my favorite part of the game (in terms of temples).

And I disagree, I've played the Gamecube version at my friends house and I'd take the Wii controls over the old ones any day, I almost wanted to vomit when I used the bow with the analog stick and compared it to the Wiimote aiming, the analog aiming is so inferior its kinda annoying. Plus the Wii version has 480p and 16:9 support, which is a plus. At any rate I see no reason as to why the GC version is 'definitive'. Its inferior in terms of control mechanics and display output.

The flip of the world was pretty jarring though.

have you used the bow and the hawkeye together?

Only once, to see what it did and a few times after for no reason. But I honestly think that item is pretty useless. I've never once used/ needed it to hit or do anything and I've never actually shot anything with it soo.... 😬

Well it's actually pretty useful in that little game in that desert town that you get it in where you have to aim for the boy on top of the building to hit something in order to get a heart thing.

Excuse my lack of game terms. I haven't played in some months and have fogotten some names of locations and people.

Actually, if you use the Hawkeye during that contest Malo accuses you of cheating.

That contest...WHAT.THE.****!?

I wasted like 300 buying replacement arrows for Malo, I could NOT hit that stupid thing! 😠

When I ran out I used the Hawkeye to see where it was, and aim EXACTLY there. I COULDN'T EVEN SEE WHAT I WAS SHOOTING AND SOMEHOW I HIT IT!

Really? I shot and hit it at the first try, and then I tried a second shot to see if I got any more reward, hit on first try once again. Maybe u have the GameCube version and it is more difficult there?

Really? Well that's good to know then b/c I was sitting here thinking that I made it harder on myself by not using the Hawkeye.

I actually have the Nintendo Wii version and it took me a nice number of tries before I finally got it. It was more of a guess and shoot kind of thing b/c you could literally see nothing.

Well, you could see it... sort of. It was about a pixel (or whatever) or two wide.

Really, that contest is a thinly-veiled way of showing off how exact the Wii aiming controls can be. I can pull it off without missing a shot, but I have a larger TV than most (not HD).

heh, midna's hot. I also like how the game (and every game since the windwaker) has very comfortably fit in my own concept of a chronology for the series (none of this split timeline crap).

Aonuma said TP confirms the split timeline... ermm

It follows the Child Ending of OoT.

Maybe that's the reason, I play on a 28" TV (no HD, just standard Pal- TV), what about u who keep smissing, InnerRise and JToTheP?

The end of Ocarina of Time makes it almost impossiuble for there not to be a split timeline.
