Hidden Skills Link for SSB4

All in all, I don't think a talking link in a game would go over so well, just because everyone is so used to a mute link, just like a mute Mario. Seriously, the only thing that Mario ever says is "It'sah me, MARIO!" or the his death dcream "MAMA!" The rest is just random grunts and shouts. That is how link is, just random grunts and shouts. I just think it would be awkward for link to just start talking after 21 years of silence.

Going from Ast post about connect to the character.

I dont think works with a 3rd person perspective, or cinematics showing him doing things.

I think it only works in FPS like Half Life on where you constantly playing from that perspective and there isn't any point of the game on where you go away from that perspective.

That is true, but I mean, Link has been silent for 21 years, it would be an interesting experience for him to actually talk. In fact as I think about it, many of the Nintendo games where you go on an adventure the main character never talks.

So what did they do in the Zelda cartoon? Did he talk there?

And lordy, don't you wish he had stayed quiet?

Well excuuuuuuse him, princess!

...I mean, Ush. ermm

Quite agreed. Link should remain the silent hero.

Yeah, I dont really care that much.

It would be nice to have vocals for the remaining characters though.

I really just ment in the games.

God that show was aweful. ❌

Also wonder how the constant going into other peoples houses and stealing their stuff would look like in a movie (like you do in almost every RPG).

Well, it wouldnt be in the movie.

Yea, It'd wouldn't.

But I would love to see it, also buying Herbs and potions at stores and not food and drink.

But it wouldnt really be that exciting, or interesting though.

Or buying stuff at stores too.

You COULD toss in buying stuff at stores, because that could be worked into the script, but stealing things from other people's houses would just ruin a movie.

the stealing would work beter in a comedy fan movie like LOL or something.

Odds are, were there EVER a Zelda movie, the thongs that would be left out would be:

1. Anything having to do with bottles.
2. Going into a house and taking stuff.
3. Cutting grass for Rupies
4. Pieces of Hearts
5. getting larger wallets
6. getting larger Quivers and bomb bags.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. In the end a Zelda movie would probably be based on OOT, because it's the most popular Zelda game (Even though it gets most of it's elements and even some locations from ALTTP)

Anything to do with gameplay would probably not be in a movie outside of what Zelda is (fighting, monsters, dungeons and boss battles and puzzles, similar to Indy Jones movies).

Gathering missions wouldnt work, or finding treasure.

Personally, I dont think it would be based off any of the game but its own separate story similar to how the games work.

Even at that some common Zelda puzzles wouldn't be in them, such as going half way across a dungeon to find a key that opens a door clear on the opposite side. They would probably be more like what you would see in an Indy movie, just more complex.

Ok why wouldn't this work?

Because it would be boring.

I'm not talking about the main missions to get into a town, or dungeon or something like that, but the missions on where you get 40 poes, insects, heart containers. That woud be boring as hell, and pointless and a waste of time in a movie that would be 2 hours long.

Indiana Jones and National Treasure both contained finding treasures.

What he's talking about is gathering missions that have NOTHING to do with the main plot. The extra stuff placed in a game to make it seem longer. National Treasure and Indy both consisted of finding clues which lead them to their main goal.

The Heart Containers wouldn't work, just because it is an un-realistic element made for a more RPG link gameplay.

Finding Poes, bugs, etc. wouldn't work because that's just pointless and motonus, even to the point that many people who play the game don't do it. (Personally I usually find a guide that tells generally where they are so that I can check off the ones I've found and don't have to spend hours trying to find them.)
