In stories, names of books, and places. I mean, How many people do you know with the name Rupert. And do you know anybody with the last name GRINT? And I don't know what YOU'RE talking about, because Rupert Grint is a lot cooler name than AVALON. So is Max Grint, and Rama. Oh, and did I mention Grigory Bolger was a cooler name as well? 😄
Well, it's a mythological place. It's described as many things. MerMorgan used the name to make up her own mythological place as well. hers has something to do with water. there's also a a beach that goes by that name. I have no idea what the word means. It's probably a greek word, or something. I think I'll look it up.

Avalon was the legendary land created by Merlin. Supposedly, Merlin and King Arthur's Half sister, Morgan Le Fay, guided him to Avalon when he died. Of course, the name Avalon has been tossed around for decades, and numerous authors have crated their own "version" of Avalon, the Legendary Home of Magic, and made a pretty good prophet off of it. Yes, their is a beach off the New Jersey Shore called Avalon (It sux compared 2 Sea Isle City, tho). the reason I'm such an Avalon fan, tho, is because of my weird reams. Every single night, I have the same weird dreams, all about Avalon, the home of magic, an underwater place that can only be accessed by people through portals (Which only a true portal master can opperate successfully). There r The Elders their, who help guard the heart of Avalon, which even the Dream Team (Me and my friends in my dreams) have never seen b4. The DT is around to protect Avalon from evil people who try 2 use the ultimate magic 4 their own gain. We have help from people in books, and TV shows, and even movies, like Code; Lyoko, Teen Titans, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Lord of the Rings, and the list goes on.
