you guys say that docs tentacles are way to fast to dodge ,right? And somewhere waaaaaaay back in this thread I posted that the listed speed for docs tentacles isnt all you are making it out to be....as a matter or fact there are REAL people, pro kickboxers , that can kick almost 25-30% faster than Ocks tentacles...hmmm weird ....So what you are sayin is a guy like Logan, a peak human, cant dodge attacks that are technically slower than a fit man can thow? I am failing to see the logic here... Yes Wolverine will be hurt if he gets hit, but he is not gonna be gettin hit all that much if you look at the figures...also Doc Ock is not a trained fighter which means, among other things that unless he is a truly gifted natural fighter then he will fall into the same pitfalls that all mediocre talented fighters do.....pressing false advantages, falling into repetative pattern, failing to take into account angling of attacks and falling for deceptive movements.....all of which a person of logans combat experience will capitalize upon...BECAUSE he knows he is physically outmatched.....wolverine knows he cant do his usual sloppy crap and fall back on healing factor here....this is a dangerous opponent that holds alot of cards on him...he would step it back up to his old level where he actually moved out of the way of attacks rather than taking them on the chin.

You have to note that there are four arms coming at Wolverine. Four arms that move with the smallest thought of Ock. He thinks of grabbing Wolverine from specific place, the arm sets off when he makes the thought. He sends four arms coming at Wolverine. Wolverine is not fast enough to dodge them all. And Ock is quite good fighter...not in martial arts but with his tentacles. 42 years in comics do you that...

That only factors to around a smidgen over 61 mi per hour....dont seem so fast now does it? Especially since Bill Wallace Looooooong since retired , kicked over 90mph way back in the 70s.....and there are guys now that make him look glacially slow......I can dodge attacks moving at 61 mph all day...(or for about 15 minutes till i get tired)......Im sure wolverine can move around 4 of em at least for a while...I mean , hell, He only needs to hit Ock one time.......and its over forever....even if he catches one of Docs real arms...he is gonna bleed to death...
Wolverine isn't moving around them for awhile, for him to get to his real arms means he would have to get VERY close, he gets grabbed, he loses leverage.
A kick, requires you to sacrifice some balance in order to land a more damaging, but less precise attack than a punch.
With this being said, Ock can do fast attacks without fear of tiring or losing balance.

you totally missed the point.....a kick is a slower attack than a punch so if normal people can KICK that fast ...those tentacles are not so quick as everyone imagined......
Lord o dreams what part dont you agree with the 90fps?....look it up...its the speed marvel lists for him...and the other posters in this thread.....
So...im sayin basically wolverines attacks are, by virtue of the numbers you posited yourselves, faster than that of Doctor Octopus......he may be slower in movement but he does attack faster....that much should not even be debated......
Im not even trying to convince you guys anymore that logan has a good chance of winning, but just tryin to show you Ock is not as bad ass as everyone was assuming ,based on the numbers posted because most people have no idea how fast fps is but everyone can relate miles per hour.

I didn't think it was THAT fast to begin with, and no ock isn't badass, and probably never will be, but badass doesn't win fights you see what I'm saying?

right but everyone else ...even you are saying..there is no way anyone less that spiderman can dodge those tentacles...and most are probably going on a false mental picture or what his speed really is....
That said I still think Wolverine wins...You still think Ock wins....all I am debating is that it is a much much closer match than some are giving credit for

No thats not what I'm saying, people are saying wolverine moves faster than the eye can see, and that he can dodge the tentacles with ease.
Wolverine needs to do soooooo much more to win, for me to bet on him, one leg or arm grabbed, and he loses all of his grounding, thus losing.
Yep thats the poor misleading example I'm talking about, wolverine moving faster than the eye can see, would imply that he, a humaniod figure, would be moving several times the speed of sound.
A blur isn't that fast necessarily, I wave my hand in front of my face and thats a blur, I take pictures of blurs all of the time, but faster than the eye can detect is another thing.
