Black Adam vs Thor

now I know Thor would probably have feats trumping that, but BA can control the lighting just as well. And that I know of regular lighting would do jack to him. Plus he is waaaaaaaaaaaay faster than thor. Speedblitz 😄

Thor does have some speed feats but not as many as the DC guys. I'm sure his godlike speed and reflexes are equal to the task. This fight is too close, I'll cop-out and say they split it even.

Thor can move at 3x lightspeed... and in the OMAC story the Marvels weakness ot electricity was used by the OMACs to turn one of the chick Marvels back to her human form

Is this before or after he throws the hammer?

Well he can move his arms at lightspeed, which he does to teleport or getting ready to fly.... his reflexes are insane

I always thought Thors hammer moved that fast and Thor just went along for the ride.

Don't have scans, but I can point you to some issues.

In Thor -#393- it’s established that the speed of Thor transcends both time and space. In addition, Thor could, visually, detect objects that move at fantastic speeds (this happen when Thor was the target of artillery fire- see Invaders#33- and Avengers-#281- when he caught the god of speed Hermes). However, it’s impossible to measure his speed based on those depictions. However, in Marvel Team-up#26, it gives a slight more accurate description on Thor’s Super-Human speed, and you could make a similar case in Invaders-#33, where Thor deflected artillery bullets fired at him by moving his entire left arm. Specifically, in Marvel Team Up-#26, the writer makes it fundamentally clear that Thor can move faster than the mortal eyes can follow, and in Thor-#354, Thor was toying with Hela using speed that according to her was beyond comprehension. Thor stated that he was swift as the very lightning itself which in a vacuum moves at the speed of light.

Toss-up with an edge to Thor. Actually, I think the first fights would mostly go to Black Adam, as it would wound Thor's ego that Adam is better than he is HTH. Eventually, he'd start attacking at a distance more often, where Adam doesn't has much to counter with, so he'd win.

That's an ... Excessively literal interpretation of the statements. Thor was likening his speed to lightning to point out that she couldn't touch him, then she stated that his speed AND anger were incomprehensible, noting that he'd never before been so unstoppable. The point was that he was so consumed with anger that he could move too fast for her to get in her death-grip. Simonson's Thor was obviously nowhere near light-speed in battle, if you read through the run.

Um, according to Superman, he hits harder than Captain Marvel. He's ripped Amazo's head off, knocked a hole through The Spectre with a lightning punch, got the better of CM quickly when he fought The JSA, one-shotted Powergirl, and owned Dr. Fate, even taking his lightning to no effect. In some appearances, Adam is a team-basher type. I also put Superman's strength slightly above Thor's, and since I consider Black Adam to be as strong as Supes, except more ruthless and with those lightning punches ...

And Thor's accomplished equivalent if not more impressive feats. however thats irrelevant considering who's superior in h2h combat deals more with skill than just throwing punches.
