Darth Maul Vs Obi-Wan Kenobi(TPM)-REMATCH

Takes place in Tatoonie, the same place where Maul first attacked Qui-Gon.

Obi-Wan has no hole to fall in this time. Obi-Wan would win...again.

Kill youself, Maul would have killed Obi Wan easily, he knocked his lightsaber away and had him down, if there was no hole Maul would have just slashed Obi away. Hell I think Maul could even take AOTC Obi Wan, It would be a much better fight but he could still take him.

You must have saw a different fight. Obi-Wan was kicking Maul's ass and breaking his lightsaber. Maul ONLY achieved the upper hand when he Force pushed Obi into the hole.

YOU must have been watching a different fight Janus, Obi Wan broke the saber yes, but Maul clearly had the upper hand, and that Kill Yourself wasn't to you, just so you know.

But really, dude... I've rewatched that battle a million times just to stem the flow of Maul fanboyism that used to run through here... And Obi-Wan was matching Maul blow for blow and even pushing him back.... UNTIL the Force push.

Well the force push aint a cheap way of fighting ya' know. Ocasionally.
But maul is all about cheap shots. He does it throughout the entire damn fight!

Perhaps, but you must admit, Maul would have killed him if he didn't have that hole to fall into, he wouldn't have had the time to see Qui Gons saber and use it, or the leverage to jump over Maul. Oh and btw

Hmm Janus when Obi Wan started matching Maul his blows his master was already that, granted the fight before that moment had no Obi Wan vs Maul alone but its pretty clear to see that even QGJ could not hold on very well. When they were seperates QGJ died.

Obi Wan became angry and attacked harder and faster you can see the anger and the foolishness in him when he gets force pushed away that shouldn't have happened if he was paying attention like he did in later movies.

Seeing that Obi Wan will not have any reason to be angry here Maul is going to win.

I agree with Janus on this. BTW what rank is Darth Maul in TPM? Apprentice, knight or master?
