We didnt even see what kensei's bankai ability is? We could presume it's something like Ichigo's i guess.

What happened to the highly anticipated battle between Yamamoto and Aizen. Did Tite really just kill off Yamamoto? I'm kind of glad to see good guys are not immortal anymore but if Yamamoto is down, then it's really up to Ichigo and his lame ass to stop Aizen. That is unless Urahara wants to join in on the fun.
P.S: Why are Toshiro and the lieutenants alive?
Well yama sacrificed himself to wound Aizen , but that didn't really work. So now kt just killed off his uber soul reaper to only make his bad guy look good. I'm glad there are finally casualties on ss side, but come on, all captains and vizards are down who the hell is going to come save ichigo?
Well there is still uraharra, isshin, tessai and the ones still stuck In hm. But till they come ichigo is gonna get ftwpwnt.
Oh and toshiro and the others are alive because Aizen never meant to kill them.
I want to believe that Unohana is in a secret fight win Gin but that's not happening. Maybe she just said "screw this!" after Yamamoto sacrificed himself(really? Tite killed him off?). Ichigo had his one chance to look cool without being god-moded but still manages to screw it up.
The vizards, who I thought were going to be the highlight of the battle, were just a lame version of the espada(Sorry Shinji fans). Well at least Hachi didn't just get his ass whooped like everyone else.
Now I wonder how in the hell Aizen can loose. C'mon he's pretty much won already unless the cools people wnat to come in.
Loved the chapter.
It capitalized on everything Kubo has been writing and made Aizen ever MORE uber. I love it. Aizen is one of my favorite villains ever. Good chapter. I can't wait to see Ichigo animatd in this chapter with them corssing swords, black explosions a la DBZ style, etc.
I look forward to WTF Aizen has planned. Maybe he wants to have Ichigo become the most awesomest tool of fighting power, for him, with his virtual mind control? Maybe he saw something in Ichigo as the most uber powersource, yet?
Ok, I'm officially convinced: Aizen is the most devious villain out of all the manga I've read. in a cool/awesome way. damn, just when I thought he was actually wounded, he reveals another surprise of his. he never runs out of things does he?
can only wonder what kind of new tricks and moves the hogyoku gives him.

Indeed. Aizen is one of my favorite villains. But, if you think about it, he has a good reason for being that well planned: he has been able to plan his shit for over 100 years, he's a genius, a masterful actor, extremely powerful in his universe, and has the most haxor Zanpakutou in the series.
Those are all deadly combos, for the good guys.

Personally I'd give that spot to Medusa from Soul Eater. Aizen is awesome, but when you can walk into the base of the most powerful being on earth, who happens to hate you, surrender and still come out laughing, you just became pretty epic.
