Officially? No, the captains have gotten no powerups, though there were some special moves they didn't use against him, and none of them truly wanted him dead so they might not have been fighting at their max.

Ichigo was fighting at max during Soul Society, then he went downhill (confidence, loss of balance with his inner hollow, what have you), and the vizard mask pretty much just let him regain his own level or so as far as I can tell.

Kenpachi didn't even go all out against Ichigo in SS though... Had he used Kendo Ichigo would of got blown to hell. As for Kenpachi and Kuchiki going against Yammy well.. I wish KT would show the god damn fight again, as Aizen just straight up annoys the hell out of me now.

We can rest assured that an Ichigo that had a shottty couple of months training from Rukia...who barely knew how to focus his zanpakutou...was not even close to full strength. We know this because he later becomes far stronger than that version of himself.

BTW, each captain is at least 100 years old (not sure about Vanilla Ice, though). The youngest being Kuchiki (he was a pre-teen to a teen 110 years ago.)

Well... Ichigo is about at Senior Captain level right now, I'd say below Ukitake. With his new powerup though who knows. People take H2 way out of proportion, the seniors could still put him down even if he went H2.

As for the Yammy thing... if you've read the new databook that came out, Yammy might of been the old Kenpachi at the TBTP arc, but it's nothing but speculation as of right now.

How is that possible considering a hollow is composed of thousands to tens of thousands of souls (at the Adjuchas level) of which Yammy was most likely born? (He was either an Adjuchas or a Vasto Lorde before aizen started molesting them with his crystals.)

Edit - Anyway, Ichigo was mid-level captain when he beat Kenpachi. When he beat Kuchiki, he was high-tier captain. When he got his mask, he was stronger than all by Yamamoto (if power-scaling was done properly by Kubo.)

Ichigo's Hollow 2 form (against Ulq) was stronger than any captain, by far.

His current bankai 2 form is stronger, by far, than any form seen except for Aizens. No espada or captain even come close to his H2 form...much less his Bankai 2 form.

So what now? Bankai 2 Hollow 2 form? Or is that esentially what his current form is (which is why his father couldn't master it...he had to have released his hollow form, too.)

Aizen is his usual chatty self. They enter a brief skirmish and a mountain is shown crumbling. Aizen starts talking again but Ichigo is silent. Aizen tries to cut Ichigo, but Ichigo is able to dodge it easily.

Ichigo grabs Aizen's sword, which surprises Aizen. Aizen then decides to use Black Coffin. He says the full chant, and is certain that it will destroy Ichigo as Aizen believes he has surpassed Hollows & Shinigamis.
The Coffin surrounds Ichigo, who destroys it with a swing of his sword. Ichigo states that his power is greater than Aizen's current power. He also states that it was his sword that destroyed the mountain.😐

Eh... man a soul can either go to SS, or be a hollow pending on how it was in the real world. Then said soul if it does go to SS can become a hollow after it dies or be a human again in the real world. It's all a recycle of rebirth in Bleach.

And as said if you look at the databook there is an insane resemblance between the two. Plus in the TBTP arc the 11th squad captain wasn't even shown.

Ichigo was definitely not Mid-Tier when he fought Kenpachi. He was low at best. He only won because he had help from Zangetsu and nothing more. When he beat Byakuya who once again didn't even use all of his abilities he might of then been Mid-Tier. You seem to know your stuff good so I mean it's obvious you should know he only advanced in both fights due to PIS.

And when he got his hollow mask to become a Vizard he then rose to high mid-tier. He was definitely not stronger than any of the high tier captains, Urahara, Isshin, or Yourichi.

H2 was by far NOT stronger than any captain that is just crazy talk. Yamamoto's shikai alone could probably annihilate H2. Same with Shunsui's. H2 fought Ulq who was VL level, and the 4th Espada. Don't make it seem like he owned the shit out of God or something. Gin toyed with Ichigo.

His bankai gives him a speed boost only for the most part man...not power itself like other Bankais.

However with Ichigo's current power up from the Dangai.... it's looking as if he's finally stronger than Aizen which would inturn put him above Senior Captain level below Yamamoto. But we'll see.

It's the worst thing you could possibly read. Fairy tail started out pretty cool though but when the first villain appeared everything went instant shit.

So, Ichigo's hand is apparently strong enough to break through a gravitational construct capable of bending space-time.
In terms of physical stats, Ichigo is likely beyond every other being in Bleach, barring Aizen.

Also, lol @ Aizen backing away and putting distance between himself & Ichigo.

What? Fairy Tail's awesome! And gets more-so as it goes on.

It reminds me of One Piece in a lot of ways (art-style most notably, also in being reasonably formulaic but good at the formula so it's fun enough you don't care). Not quite OP's level, but what is? IMO a lot higher than Bleach. And rare for a shounen fight series, it has a bunch of badass female characters.

Which first villain are you thinking of? Some of the early ones are kinda weak (intro arcs and all), but by, say, Phantom Lord, the villains are generally awesome.

I liked what I read of RAVE, and Fairy Tail is written by the same gai right?

Anyway. Thought it was kind of funny how in current Naruto, Gai's trump card ability involves forgoing chakra and using only his physical strength and speed to the point where it resembles one using chakra, while in current Bleach, Ichigo's current trump card involves forgoing reaitsu and using only physical strength and speed, to the point where he resembles one using reaitsu.
