It's hard to fathom just how bad it's become... It's in a geometric contrast to the epic tale that is Naruto which in turn only becomes better and better.
Off topic but the series finale of Lost was the biggest let down and the laziest writing I've ever seen from anyone anywhere. Even the amatures that write fiction for fun, put more effort into their writing.
I mean, really...they are all dead? That doesn't even come close to explaining lots and lots of things that happened throughout the series.
It would have made much more sense if they would have just written the island as some sort of Ancient alien spacecraft where the island is a living being. Not the "world's belly button of happy shiny wholesome rainbow goodness." That was pretty stupid.
And they went from "not being able to see Jacob" to "being able to see Jacob." He was supposed to be this magical ethereal being that could only be seen if revealed to someone. He spoke to Jack? and said, "Help me" but wasn't in the room in a physical form. WTF? That was like...the coolest damn part of the show and the over-wrote that with BS. Then there's the women not being able to have babies, the obvious "ancient tribe" presecence all over the island, how the island can "warp" to another location,, why they pretty much go rid of the "happy universe" where Faraday posited that it would "fix" everything, and it pretty much DID fix everything. LAME that they decided to basically forget about it.
Then there's the immortal eyeliner dude, Richard. Why was he immortal?
Then there's some people getting healed and some dying. Lame that no real explanation was given.
So much lameness. There was so much good material about the island that they could have written about and done so with flying colors. The "side-universe" was very awesome and I thought for sure that Desmond was going to connect the characters' minds to the side universe where pretty much everything was awesome. That way, they could all have awesome lives again. Then, at that point, the "main" universe would cease to exist and the main one would take over. That version would STILL be better than their ending, imo.
There's probably about 20 more points I want to make about lazy writing and loose ends...but I won't.
Anyway, back on topic...Kubo had BETTER start writing sh*t about Ichigo getting his powers back! 😠

Yeah.... I was already leery of how things were going midway into the season. It held my interest to a degree trying to figure out what timeline/reality/whatever we were watching... But when we got several episodes in and they had yet to answer one question but set more up instead, I felt myself only thinking one thing..

Then I heard they were extending the finale by a half hour... In my head I figured it'd be for answering some shit....

By the time they began having their series specials and interviews I knew we the viewers were doomed....
I mean, don't get me wrong. I get what they were doing at the end... Using the whole Peaceful Warrior philosophical approach "It's not the destination that matters, it's the journey." in an attempt to save face.....
But DAMN! To sit there straight faced and tell us that "at it's core.. Lost is really about the characters".... What a ****ing cop-out... The biggest I've ever seen. Uh... NO comes to mind. I mean sure we eventually became investing in the characters... well most of em. But for years and years it was about the questions. The questions were the big draw for all of us expecting to see some answers, it's what had us coming back for more... or blowing through whole seasons in one sitting (if you watched them on DVD first).
I felt like it was just such a disrespectful way to treat an audience.... If you're not going to even attempt to answer the puzzles you've constructed at least own up to it. *sigh*... what a dissapointment.
Yeah..............THAT'S almost as bad as Bleach as become... At least LOST KNEW when it'd run it's course. Bleach just keeps dragging itself along in spite of being mortally wounded.... like that guy in Predator that got hit with a tree... "I can make it!".... No you can't. 😐
I have seen "it's about the characters, not the plot," pulled off to various extents a lot better.
It requires strong character arcs and resolutions.

Actually it was mentioned in the latest chapter, noobs.Ichigo asks him about if he is allowed to do it, and Uryu mentioned he only goes after "marks" given to him by Urahara.
and my big thing about it was that he was allowed to fight a lot, with no arguments from anyone, way before this.

Actually, he was not... Ichigo and friends going to Hueco Mundo for instance, though expected, was not sanctioned by Yama, them going to SS obviously was not, and as for before that, he was far too insignifigant at the time for them to even notice or care, in all likelihood.

No, he's right. Affirmative action: he automatically gets 10 points at the beginning of the argument.
But, really, he's right because when a Quincy kills a hollow, it goes to oblivion (dissipates into just "spirit paticles). When a Shinigami does it, it reverts back to a human and goes to soul society. This is why Quincy's were "outlawed."
Perfect example of PIS from Tite Kubo.
Now...if Kubo writes, in the next chapter, or a few chapters down the line, a tool that Urahara invented that utilizes the Quincy powers, but performs the soul burial, I'll eat my words and so will Blaxican. 😐
