I was a tad shocked that Kishi covered his usual "three" chapters worth of material in one chapter.
Just watched Episode 308 of Bleach. It was pretty dang cool. One of the best. It was much more satisfying watching Ichigo pwn Aizen in motion, rather than panels in a manga.
They also did a nice job of making things seem much more "outrageously" powerful compared to the Gotei 13's area damages. I hope 309 keeps up the pace.
I really liked this last chapter. It wasn't quite worth the many chapters before it...but it was still awesome. I like how, for once, Ichigo is not being "gimped" to simply further the plot. Kubo did a better job of showing us what his experience really does: a very quick understanding of his powers and how to use them. He fought for almost 3 days straight against his zanpakuto. He then fought for almost 3 months straight against his Zanpakuto's true power. That alone puts his battle experience much higher than many of the series characters. He should be able to very quickly analyze and assess a situation and gauge his powers against that situation.
That said, it makes perfect sense that if he understood how a fullbring works, he should be able to make it work for him much more quickly than other people. It makes sense that he would use it similar to his shinigami powers to "jump" midair.
It also makes sense that he wouldn't have full control over his fullbring's first true release. He needs more practice and time with it which he'll obviously get.
once again Ichigo improves slightly with his fullbring. while that was going down, I have to give Ginjo credit, he's a good fighter to be able to match Tsukishima for a bit. and that one attack of his with the energy surrounding his sword reminded me of Kazuki and his lance from Buso Renkin.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Kubo is actually doing a nice job now.

You simply can't account for every single scenario. That's why a strategist should make a reasonably stable plan and when drifted astray from its original path the strategist should interfere and lead it back on track.
"I knew it would come to this when you were kicking in your mother's womb." was far too ridiculous of a twist to be taken seriously, in my opinion.

A good strategist can plan ahead without knowing all the variables, and the plans shouldn't be susceptible to interference.
However, an excellent strategist can account for all relevant variables (this is my point), categorize those variables based on risk, and mitigate those risks in order of magnitude in accordance to resources. I hope you didn't think I meant literally every last variable down to the Planck level.

Aizen took it a step further than that: his plan was so thorough and so precise that he had it planned up until the Chrysalis stage. At that stage is where his gambling started.
