I still wonder why though. if it was just for the sake of getting Ichigo's fullbring, he really didn't have to do all that. sure him calling Ichigo by his last name could serve as a possible hint that he was up to something, Ichigo would've just thought that's just how he calls people, by their last name
at least Ichigo has his soul reaper powers back. maybe he'll have his hollow back too.
I think Ginjou wanted the full experience for Ichigo. I'm sure he knew enough about Ichigo to think that Ichigo might not trust him if he were just pretending to have been betrayed by Tsukishima. So therefore Ginjou had Tsukishima cut him, so it was honestly the truth of what Ginjou was telling Ichigo. Seems like it might be useless, but in reality it wasn't, Ichigo could always sense the truth in things, one of his biggest attributes.

Edit: Is it ironic that Ginjo's give away is calling Ichigo by his last name but Orihime does it all the time? mmm
Well, I think that Gino and Ichigo are similar in personality when it comes to social graces. They are both very rude. That would be more of a give away for Japanese readers than it would American readers, for sure. that kind of thing stands out to them.
That particular plot point would have worked better if it was the last sentence uttered. I don't believe it was.

Well, he was using 'Ichigo' before. I noticed the 'Kurosaki' thing, but I never thought that whole 'I am being a dick because I always was one' would happen.
