Ginjo isn't an expert; he's just some dude.

No, what I said.

He happens to be an expert in taking and giving spiritual powers. A better expert than anyone save it be Urahara himself. He also had more knowledge of SS for SS (lol) than anyone save it be the secret combinations.

So what is being discussed here? The state of Ichigo's Hollow powers and how he got them? I'm not going to read through this, just tell me. 😮

Knowing more than the people around you doesn't make you an expert, it just makes you more knowledgeable. So like, he's not an expert on anything.

And therein lies what is wrong with your argument: being an expert is always relative.

Being an expert constitutes knowing more than those around you about a certain subject matter. It is a subjective position or title. You're argument for an "absolute expert" which implies or requires omniscience. That's definitely not what an expert is.

Obviously, Ginjo is an expert in giving and taking powers. This literally cannot be argued (which you are trying to do...which is absurd). However, this does not matter as I clearly proved why Ginjo's statements were correct with a heaping pile of information that supported him. It is not as though Ginjo was speaking out of turn. In some ways, he is still more knowledgeable than Urahara.

I'm so confused concerning Ichigo's ****ing powers. It would help if he didn't have so many of them.

Shinigami powers he got from Rukia but those were lost but he got his own ripened up later through a rather sadistic test that at first seemed to be the birth of his hollow/visord powers but now is being brought into question with this fullbring bullshit. Ichigo lost his shinigami powers, which at the time was fused(?) with his hollow powers indicating that he lost those too. So, he should have been emptied out. Or left with only drops left. But then it turns out Chad isn't nearly as unique as he appears to be and Ichigo has powers similar to Chads cause his mom got attacked before he was born, apparently. Which leads to a whole slew of questions. Going by how Ginjo described fullbring powers, they usually have an object that they can change the shape of and shit. But...Ginjo's sword was very clearly a necklace before and now that it has been revealed to be a zanpakuto I'm now more confused. Is Ginjo's fullbring also his zanpakuto? Or is it not and is he simply copying Ichigo, cause he can do that apparently? And wait, how did Ginjo know about how Ichigo got his powers? And why don't Yuzu and Karin have hollow powers? Or do they? And why were all these Hollows bothering with Ichigo's mom? Did she have some special spiritual pressure? If so, going by the trend of Ichigo having a shit ton of powers and being part of every group in the series, Ichigo's mom must have been a Quincy.

God Kubo does not know how to keep track of this shit.

He isn't more knowledgeable on the subject than Kubo. So no, he's not an expert. Why is that relevant? Because this all stem's from the fact that you insinuated that the recent developments with Ichigo's powers are a writing error on Kubo's part. I don't remember what you said exactly, but it was something akin to Kibo forgetting what'd he written. "Kubo's made a writing error here, look at what Ginjo said last week!" is a bad argument, because Ginjo is just a character in a universe Kubo defines. How do you know Kubo made an error, as opposed to Ginjo just... being wrong?

If you looked at the beginning of where this started, it was due to people saying that Ginjo can hardly be trusted and I brought up that he was an expert in the area that he spoke of making him hardly incorrect. I later backed up that position with tons of shit that makes Ginjo right.

That's a rather stupid statement because not even Kubo knows what he's going to write. 313

Wrong.

I said that Kubo wrote some serious PIS with the whole "born" thing. That was irrelevant to the other point. Just like Zamp, you're confusing two different discussions.

Indeed.

Ummmm... no.

You have two different conversations confused.

Here they are:

1. Ginjo said Ichigo's hollow powers were gone. Confirmed with a shitload of evidence.

2. Fullbringers get their fullbring powers from their parents getting attacked BEFORE they were born: confirmed because of all the fullbrings but contradicted by Ichigo because Kubo forgot about it...then later wrote about Ichigo's hollow powers coming from his mother being attacked (showing us that he had forgotten that Kubo had forgotten that he wrote (multiple times) in previous weeks that fullbringers get their powers from their parents being attacked BEFORE the fullbringer was born).

Two different points and two different conversations.

It's only a bad argument if you're confusing two different conversations. Additionally, it's still not a bad argument even the way you're confusing it.

We already know Ichigo lost his hollow powers: Ginjo took Ichigo's fullbring (hollow derived powers) away from Ichigo and Ichigo's power is fueled by only shinigami rieryoku, at this point).

You mean how do we know that Kubo contradicted statements he made multiple times in weeks prior?

Exactly.

Bam. Right on the dot. And this is where the story picks up right after the timeskip: Ichigo virtually drained of all his powers.

Apparently, Ichigo's little sisters DO have shinigami powers...and hollow powers (by extension) because they can see ghosts, or whatevs, now. And the oldest sister seems to be fighting hollow or some shit.

Moving along...

Ginjo can still have fullbring powers AND shinigami powers. We know why, as well: they talked about taking fulbring powers and pouring them into that substitute shinigami. As it turned out, that Substitute shinigami was Ginjo.

Ginjo's zany is probably a "power stealing" type because he stole all of Ichigo's fullbring powers (leaving him completely empty, at that point) and then kept most for himself while dishing some out to his squad of fullbringers. So we do know why Ginjo has both a fullbring and a zany in the same sword.

But here is the list of Ichigo's powers:

Hollow.
Shinigami.
Fullbring.

Here is an explanation of where he got them:

Hollow: from urahara's special "shinigami powers revival" process. Ichigo got his hollow powers from that, apparently.
Shinigami: He got those from his father, quite obviously.
Fullbring: He got those form his mother because his mother was attacked by a hollow before he was born (lololololololol)

Now he has pure shinigami powers as donated from the captains and lieutenants. No fullbring. No hollow. Pure shinigami.

Oh.... missed this... dammit.

Bleach chapter is out and stuff

Spoiler:
Barely anything happened and the stuff that did sucked horribly.

Ginjo goes down like a ***** and then goes on to say some crap like Ichigo changed him or something; even though he caused this whole gotdamn mess in the first place. Tsukishima came back from the death or being punched through the chest and tries to kill Ichigo. Then Riruka comes out of Rukia and takes the hit.

Then we get to see a shinigami version of Ginjo in a flashback with Tsukishimal.

****.

Even Ginjo went down like a *****.

Riruka pops up, Tsukishima is not only alive but able to move, and now it's time for some flashbacks to two irrelevant characters.

Who knows maybe the flashback can explain how the hell Tsukishima survived having a hole put in his chest.

Sooo.....exactly why did Riruka not kill Rukia?

Because she likes Ichigo. Probably.

I don't think it was that bad. I mean... it's no christmas present of awesome by any measure, but it's not like there aren't a lot of chapters which suck more.

To be honest I'm just Really looking forward to finding out what the new arc is about because after Aizen... I just can't see the direction.

So Riruka did hide inside Rukia. I so called that.

I enjoyed this chapter much more than many of the previous chapters. It was good. Of course, we knew Riruka was hiding in Rukia's bewbz. That was obvious. We knew she was "good" all along, too.

I didn't expect Ichigo to curb stomp Ginjo so easily, though. HOWEVER, we know that Ichigo's bankai is ultra-compression (at least the old was) so we should see his sword being able to break other swords for the same reason that Byakuya was able to cut through Ichigo's sword when they first met and why Ichigo could not cut Kenpachi when they first met. So Ichigo cutting Ginjo's sword makes sense. Ginjo was also amped with Ichigo's fullbring which is good to me: it shows that Ichigo is still uber powerful as a Shinigami like he SHOULD be.

The chapter was too short, however. I want to see all of the fullbringer's healed and NOT dead. **** you haters that demand deaths like spectators in a Colosseum. If I had my way, no one would die and everyone would be redeemed EXCEPT those that refused redemption and wanted to be “evil”. That’s my ideal manga. Bad guys die. Bad guys turned good guys live. Good guys live. Throw in the occasional friendly sacrifice but it HAS to be worth it. Such as Riruka’s actions. If she dies, I am okay because she did it nobly. Sure, I’d want her to stick around if we could help it.

Dew Demon has now got me thinking about character deaths. mmm

Go read Naruto then.

Well, it is superior after all.
