Probably because Chad is seen as a useless support character. Sure he's done a lot in the past but lately, he seems to be there just to be there. I wouldn't mind Tatsuki replacing that hulking tower of boring at all.

They hid their spiritual pressure and went into stealth mode maybe?

This is what happens when things get rushed.

It's not Chad's fault he's useless. Everytime he get's a chance at some development or new powers, he put up against someone who could easily curb Ichigo at that point in time. Though Tatsuki getting powers and replacing him isn't all that bad of an idea; she'd be better replacing Orihime IMO.

But the seretei is supposed to have this ultra powerful barrier keeping intruders out and everyone is supposed to know immediately once the security has been breached right?

Now why do you want Orihime replaced? That would be like removing a healing mage from the party in Dragon Age or WoW. Bad idea.

Either the intruders are soul reapers or they got in with PIS. Can't think of anything else beyond that.

Ever since we found out she could raise the dead, the tension in Bleach fights has become nigh non-existent. Without a healer, we put the life or death tension back into Bleach. The good guy could still have a healer though just one that isn't as broken as Orihime.

Or the gate-keepers decided to not give to shit about their job that day.

You...actually have a good point. I never really was worried about anybody since she kept playing God with those broken abilities but still, even if the fan community demanded her gone and Kubo actually listened, she would still have to be around from time to time since she's Ichigo's love interest.

They do have that stupid sense of honor that if defeated fair and square, they'll gladly open the gate for anybody.

I have no comment this chapter. It is what it is.

Boring?

No, there's nothing to comment. The chapter was fairly direct with what it revealed. It was also direct with what it didn't reveal.

Right. Boring.

Glad we agree.

Interesting.

Spoiler:
Soooo, that Ivan fella is a Hollow, but he has Quincy powers, or he's a Quincy, with Hollow powers... lol, that's new.

We know.

Well, there is one other combination, too.

He could be a Quincy Hollow with powers powers.

😆

damn, this Ivan dude sure threw me for a bit of a loop. I thought he was a damn arrancar that would signal the return of Grimmjow and Nel. that possibility just went down a bit with this chapter. nonetheless, it's clear to us all that something is up with Ivan, otherwise he wouldn't have what looks like a piece of a hollow mask hanging from the side of his head. hell, he could some kind of quincy version of a vizard or something.

well excuse me for trying to be polite, you douche. sneer

I don't think he's an Arrancar, just has a hollow like patch on his eye.

But if they are hollowfied Quincies, then damn, that's gonna be awesome. But I doubt they're the true antaganists of this last arc.

It would make sense though if the Quincies were the antagonists. I mean, didn't Soul Society go all Order 66 on their asses a long time ago?

Yeah, because they were upsetting the balance of souls. When Quincies kill hollows, they also destroy the soul also.

Kubo stated the enemy is something new. But hey, anything can go.

Quincies with Hollow powers would indeed be awesome. Uryu should totally gain Hollow powers and then use them and Final Form to pwn shit awesome

I would love to see Uryuu wreck shit.

You won't see that.

Because the actual main characters of Bleach have become completely secondary to the Soul Society characters.

Jesus that pisses me off.

you really want an entire arch featuring Chad and Booby girl? 😬
