No, I think he was just trying to get the upper hand when Ichigo was distracted.

😬

On second thought, this chapter could be setting us up for what's going to be happening with Ichigo.

Now that he is a monster and seemingly has no control, maybe the remaining friends will have to capture him and what not, bring him back to the real world and try to figure out what's wrong with him.

Which means we'll be seeing more Kisuke and The Visored!

I saw the same thing you did.

1. My comments were relative to the energy blasts in Bleach. Context goes a long in understanding what is meant in a post and context applies in just about any language. And, no, it doesn't travel hypersonic speeds. Not even close, actually. It travels much closer to the speed of sound. Of course, I'm referring to the blast radius, and not the fireball. The fireball expands even slower.

Just in case you are not aware, it goes like this:

Sub-sonic, sonic, supersonic, hypersonic. The blast radius travels, outside of the fireball, at sonic speeds. The reason for this...basically, the blast wave is a really really really loud sound wave. 😐

2. There are SEVERAL energy elements to a nuclear explosion, not just the fireball. The fireball, or the superheated atmosphere, travels relatively slowly. It travels SLOWER than the speed of sound, for the most part. Sure, at initial detonation for a couple of seconds or so, it travels at super sonic speeds, but it slows down very quickly and then slowly expands. The blast radius is the fastest sustained traveling physical element in a nuclear explosion..of course, the electromagnetic elements travel faster than the blast radius...but they are not physical elements but electromagnetic elements.

Case in point, you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to nuclear weapons, you didn't know what I was talking about, and all points in your post, except for the first, are factually incorrect. That's okay. It should be expected that if anyone disagreed with me, they would be utterly raped. I studied physics in college for a few years. 😐

For more reading on nuclear blasts, see the following sites that I brought up by google searching "nuclear blast," and "nuclear weapons". It took me all of 2 minutes to find these for you:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_explosion

http://www.fas.org/nuke/intro/nuke/blast.htm

http://www.fas.org/nuke/intro/nuke/thermal.htm

Slow is a relative term. It is traveling slower than the blast radius, yes. It expands slowly because it isn't very fast.

No. No no no no. You don't know what you're talking about. Please, stop before you dig yourself any deeper. You should definitely know what you're talking about before you start talking. Do you think that 420 KM/h is faster than a supersonic fighter jet?

Here's how I arrived at that number:

Fastest eruption to height found was 21 KM over 3 minutes. You can calculate this in two ways, my way (which is the genius way 😄 ) or the text book way.

My way, I just know automatically to calculate 21/3*60 (I didn't use conversion factors in chemistry either, I just calculated straight out and it baffled my Chemistry professors). That equals 420.

The text book way is to first convert your time to hours (since the result will be in kilometers per hour.)

That's 3/60. That equals .05.

Next, you calculate how many kilometers an hour it was traveling.

So that's 21/.05 = 420 KM/H.

Is 420 KM/H a sonic or a supersonic speed?

Let's see.

What is sonic at sea level? (This is rhetorical.)

Now, we can also measure the velocity at exit point, and that should be much faster than 420KM/H. However, that is not how the vast majority of the ash cloud travels. The "lighter" eruptions have faster traveling ash columns than the other types of eruptions. The more "particle" laden the eruption cloud, the slower it travels due to the density of the materials. (Obviously...the whole thing about atmospheric resistance and inertia.) However, on the VEI scale, 8s are just packed with energy.

Your example of a volcano is not very applicable to the conversation. Sure, a pyroclastic cloud might be something that could substitute for a blast wave, but why no use a nuclear explosion as it is just much more comparable to the energy explosions in the anime.

wow, you put a lot of research into this. im slightly impressed. lol, but your wrong, and its very simple for me to prove so. shockwaves, are by DEFINITION, faster than sound, since they only appear when the initial energy is high and dense enough to destroy the information carrying wave in a oscitable system, thus breaking free of the wave speed limit and any information carying capability in the wavefront. in the atmosphere, this means the spead of sound or mach one. ALL nuclear weapons and f-4 and above eruptions have shockwaves. this can easily be seen by the cloudlike white the surrounds the outer edge of the of the circumference.{it is water condensing which only starts developing very near mach one} when it disappears abruptly{as in sonic booms} it means youve passed mach one. you can see this in all nuclear explosions and major eruptions{watch the initial upward eruption of mount pinatubu to find out what im talking about} , and can only see it disappearing abruptly, meaning, it passes mach one. 😄

my example of pinatubo eruption had to do with the ILLUSION of a shockwave being slow, it looked slow, but no average jet wud have been able to keep up with it in reality. and im not talking about the radiant energy ball we perceive in the middle, im talking about the outer edge of the shocwave{since the inner part actually contracts, causing a backward super suction of gasses causing still further damages as it expands and cools down}

ofcourse in animes, explosions usually feal like they are erupting straight out of huge pipe in the ground, instantaneously and erupting upwards{as was the case with ulq}

Stop. You're wrong. I cited sources. There's no reason for you to continue this line of argument anymore.

^u fail 😛 now be a man

Whoa now, don't say something you may end up regretting.

EDIT: Nevermind, I think you already are. mmm

Bleach is getting old and fast i keep seeing ichigo do the same thing over and over again he always either powers up some ridiculous way or he finds his resolve to beat the enemy. its stupid and repetitive.

Welcome to the awesome world of shonen.

Just about any shonen you read uses this same kinda formula.

this chapter was kinda boring

yeah welcome to the bleach equivilent of golden azuru, next he is going to learn to controll it and it will change how he looks (maybe) so he looks less evil, then he will end up fuzing with kenpachi or something to defeat aizen. then the god power is going to manifest itself into Ichigo and the person guarding it will train him (like shenron did to goku with the dragon balls at the end of gt)

edit: actually that was meant to be a joke but im going to stick with most of it, i really think that something like that will happen, kenpachi will learn his sword name and then go bankai and then join forces with ichigo (not necesaraly fusion) to defeat aizen, mark my words thats whats going to happen

totally believable dude

I CHANGED MY MIND!!!! no i beleive that tousen is going to be the one to kill aizen, someone will convince him that aizen is not in it for peace or aizen will do something that will make him realize it and since he cant be trapped in his illusion he would be the perfect person to fight him, or at least help defeate him

Only thing Tosen can kill is my respect for the few black people in Bleach even more.

Tosen is something of a hypocrite, blind in more ways than one, and has a bankai I can't respect.
Yammy's an irritating cockroach that just won't die already.
Zommari was lame and died cryin' like a *****, and looks like Jay-Z.
Yourichi's closer to being Indian(based on how her face is shaped)
And Halibel...I don't know what Halibel is other than nicely voluptuous.

Halibel is Skelewhore.

I just marathoned from @ least chapter 108 to the present. What a terrible place to end a chapter. (Or awesome, depending on how you look at it.)

Stuff I should know about the Bount arc (which I skipped)?
