he didn't; it was Bach who said it, which implies that he isn't really Bach...

The guy who's dying said 'Please forgive me Juha Bach-sama', not Yama.

Either the guy Yama has been fighting is an impostor, or Juha Bach isn't actually his name, and instead its like a rank/title.

It was more of a rhetorical question. I knew Yamamoto never called Bach "Sama", and that is was 'Bach' who said it.

Edit - Oh, I see. That was Bach on the ground. I saw the image as Yamamoto in the second to last panel which is why everyone's comments didn't make sense. I thought it was a weird/odd zoom angle of Yamamoto's face. My bad, fother mucker.

well... looks like that wasn't Bach if the last comment in the chapter was anything to go by. makes you wonder then where the real Bach is. most likely planning a better way to beat Yamamoto now. this is going to get very interesting as far as Bach goes very soon.

Hopefully this is all leading to Yama getting owned by the real Bach (or whoever is actually in charge) and being saved by either Shunsui, Uno or Ukitake... or all three, who can use their bankai's due to them being not known about.

Yama is well versed in distinguishing different spiritual pressures, so if that wasn't the real Bach, the whole fight is for nothing.
