The strangest thing about the new girls are the lips. I can't think of another female character with as pronounced lips as them. Except maybe Jackie but I can't really remember.

So....did I like miss the part where Unohana was treating people. Cause in the previous chapter she was sulking and whatnot. Oh and now that I get a better look at these guys, they do look all kinds of lame with exception of the bearded-guy.

Shutara is cool. Kirio is cool. And dick head guy earns the right to have his hair like that.

Not enough of the guy with the pimpin green shoes though.

They could've had a tad cooler design though. Well at least none of theme are pretty boys so I guess that's okay.

Oh and did Mayuri really explain to Ichigo why taking his bankai home was a bad idea? Cause he hasn't provided any better solutions other than saying that bankai's are permanently damaged when broken.

They're all eccentric in some way. Gouken-guy is always grinning like an idiot and has those platform sandals. Kirio has a friggin spoon on her head and her title is King of Cereals.
Better than most of the straight-laced captains like Hitsugaya or Soi-Fon, or Byakuya. srug

I liked the way dick-head guy owned Soi-Fon though, only to promptly get knocked on his ass by Gouken-guy.

So Kirio and Shenshumaru were both in the 12th division?

i think they just told Uno to get off her ass and join the fight... this pleases me.

I'm digging Shutara and i wanna know more about her connection with Mayuri; I wonder if she's the one who locked him up. Also, she's also hot as hell.

I believe that is what they did. and I am also pleased to see that these guys are tougher than they looked; I was worried that their silly appearances were just a bit too much for them to actually be the zero squad, but this chapter changed my mind on that.

Well, Unohana was commanded by Yamamoto to stay behind and heal: she had no choice unless she wanted to offend the Captain Commander. I guess the 0 squad supersedes the commands of the captain commander?

Also, I think HE is named King of Cereals because HE is a MALE that is a transvestite. That is probably what Shinji was hinting at by "you look so much different!"

And another question: why do all of them appear to be much younger than Yamamoto yet they got a new member as far back as 110 years ago (turn back the time mini-arc)?

And what is up with the former research division's captain being really weird...and frankensteiny? She was supposed to be sexy, dammit!
