The Official BLEACH series Thread

After all these years of waiting the patience has finally payed off. That's right people in this chapter Kon is back! No, but seriously, the Zero Squad is introduced.

Yawn.

So does this mean that any of the Zero Squad captains are stronger than Yamamoto? Cause that would be the case...if they are supposed to be stronger than the combined Gotei 13.

So that contradicts the statement that no one is stronger than Yamamoto.

Yeesh. Bleach is becoming more contradictory than the bible.

Hitsugaya said the same thing about the Espada (more or less) as I recall and Kubo managed to bullshit his way into that not being true, so who knows. I bet these guys will be treated as irrelevent fodder soon enough.

Also, Orihime should be able to fix Ichigo's bankai. Kubo really mucked up with her power.

BUt Kubo doesn't keep track of his characters so Ichigo's bankai being broken will probably make sense for some reason. Though I wonder why the dude who's been killed twice would have bankai problems only now.

I also wonderif Zero Division will actually be relevant to anything.

I forgot about that...and so did Kubo.

I think 5 near-Yamamotos would be enough to beat the 13, you don't necessarily need one individually stronger.

To be fair, he said 'if they have 10 vasto lorde'.

Turns out, they had 3, maybe 4 (if Ulq is one).

Yeeep.

So five Aizens then?

But what about the whole "I can beat the no#1 espada with shikai" thing that happened. On top of that Hitsugaya even beat one.

Mybe Kubo specifically trapped Orihime in Hueco Mundo for the purpose of not repairing Ichigos bankai. Plus this broken bankai stuff is kind of silly to pull out this late in the series.

Maybe if there were more he figured there'd be some as strong as the stronger captains?

And he merely trapped her, rather than killing her.

Considering they knew there was some captain-class non-vasto lordes, plus Gin and Tosen and Aizen, I think he was basically just worried about being outnumbered.

Shouldn't he be able to just go to her/her come to him now? Urahara's there, after all.

Except Yamamoto's statement was that no Shinigami born within the past 1000 years had become stronger than him. There could very well be 1000+ year old Shinigami in the Zero Squad. Even then, Yamamoto by himself could destroy SS, so he's probably > G13 as well. Which means that each individual in the Zero Squad would be inferior to him. So it isn't necessarily contradictory.

As to your Bible comment facepalm2. But that's neither here nor there because I'm shure ur trolling. sneer

Orihime probably won't be used. Ichigo will be a part of another one of his "I'm superior to you other shinigami" moments, and he'll develop Orihime's power to fix his Bankai.

While there's only one confirmed Espada, Harribel, it's implied that most of them are Vasto Lorde, according to Masked.

Amongst the great numbers of arrancar that exist in Hueco Mundo, possessors of exceptional ability and efficacy—these are the "Espada". The members which comprise them are mostly† the highest rank of Menos Grande, the "Vasto Lorde" class. Depending on their efficacy each is, from Aizen, bestowed a number.

†: Disclaimer. ほとんど (pronounced: hotondo) can mean both mostly and almost.

However, considering Ulquiorra's pre-arrancar size in the missing chapter (in Unmaked) I'd guess that he was a Vasto Lorde. Since supposedly, size is a relevant factor.

However many there were, there definitely weren't 10.

And heck, Grimmjow, no. 6 Espada, was last seen in a not-Vasto Lorde state. While possible that he advanced, it's also possible he was just a really strong adjuchas when he became an arrancar. And he's roughly similar in power to Nnoitra.

There are likely three Espada who were Vasto Lorde. Baraggan, Starrk, Tia & Wonderweiss, though Wonderweiss wasn't an Espada. Starrk was likely a Vasto Lorde before he split himself into two, given his level of power both pre- & post-transformation.
Grimmjow was a confirmed Adjuchas, while the 9th was a confirmed Gillian. The two between them should be Adjuchas/Gillian. That leaves only Nnoitra and Yammy.

I always took that to mean he was born 1000 years ago. Only the filler stuff shows him being older than 1000 years.

I apologize if that offended. KMC people are generally very atheistic so I thought it would get at least one smirk. 🙁

I'm semi-religious (Christian) so it was a fat person calling someone fat. 😐

He'll develop a cure to plot AIDS?

Is that on TV Tropes (impossible to overcome problem gets am magic, out of the ass, cure)? I call it plot AIDS because there is no cure for AIDS (generally...unless you replace all of your bone marrow after draining all of your blood and getting a clean infusion).

Nah, apparently he's been around for at least 2100 years, as that is how old the School he founded is.

It didn't offend, but I don't think the Bible is severely contradictory, at least based on what I know of it. Besides, comparing Bleach to the Bible is kinda tasteless. 😛

Yeah, no biggie.

He has already developed everything else, Shinigami, Hollow, Vizard, Fullbring, and even Quincy abilities. shrug

The bible can be called contradictory because it is easily the most studied book in history and, since it's composed of several different works from several different authors separated by hundreds of years, people who care about finding contradictions can find them.

But Bleach only has one author so no excuse there~

Can't access Tumblr at the moment but I liked the chapter. The Bankai thing was neat but took up a tad too much time. It's great to see Kon again and I already like the Zero Division.

Hm, I wonder which female Div 0 Captain is Kirio Hikifune.

I think the Zero Division for the most part looks "****ing gay as ****", to quote the immortal words of Eric Cartman.

Also I have sour grapes over the notion that any of these sodomites are stronger than Yamamoto.

*grumblegrumble*

Considering that she's supposedly smarter than Kisuke I sincerely hope that it isn't the fat one.

According to Kubo, Yamamoto was indeed strong enough to join their ranks.

But I do think the bearded one (supposedly the leader) is stronger than the captain-commander.

I personally don't think the Zero Squad is stronger than Yamamoto, more like on his level. And Hikifune is probably the fat chick, she looks more motherly than the other chick. I wonder if Hiyori will come back in the story?
