i have no problem believing all 5 of them together are stronger than the 13 squads, Yama included. Outside of Yama, Shunsui and Ukitake (and Uno's hype), the captains are all pretty weak.

that is true. after all, if Bach felt he and his soldiers had to get out of there before those guys showed up then they must definitely be above the captains in power. wonder if the Spirit King will also make an appearance some time soon as well.

Hey, wait, Yamamoto's Zanpakuto had the highest attack power making him the...highest in attack power. So Yamamoto is still stronger than all of 0 squad as far as attack power goes.

Power that is broken is still Power. At any rate, it was made obvious that he was one of the strongest captains, even without KS.

Please, he completely humiliated Bankai Ichigo, and were it not for the Hogyoku miraculously returning to Aizen and reviving him, he'd have been Gin's b**** too.

just saying, it's not all that impressive that Gin beat Ichigo considering the gap in both talent and experience. Ichigo is a child in comparison to Gin... Gin even called him a kid multiple times.

Meh, the 'same' Bankai Ichigo did hold the upper-hand against Byakuya for a while, and he briefly used his Mask too.

Yeah, I recall reading that. Yamamoto would have to be at least nearly stronger than the rest of the Gotei 13 to make Shunsui correct though. Which I could buy, admittedly.

The bearded guy is the only one who looks halfway cool IMO.
