Got to admit Kubo finally came outta left field for the first time since the Aizen stuff.
BUT, since the dome didn't explode, I think he's the strongest RIGHT NOW, even in the fake town. Stark hasn't released yet, so I'm thinkin Yammy is stronger than Stark preesently, but once Stark gets serious on Kyoraku then he'll be #1 for realz.

No, He's the strongest. It is quite explicitly stated that he's 0. The number for the Espada goes from 0-9, apparantly. That means PIS or lying by Ulq. Ulq said the quatro cannot release inside of Las Noches. That could mean 1-4, though, and not be PIS at all. Yammy may have rediculous control and know that it wouldn't affect Las Noches at all. It's possible that everyone (espada) knew that Yammy was 0 and, indeed, the quatro are the Espada 1-4.
The power of each Espada, as we go up, increases greatly. The difference between Stark and Yammy had better be huge. I wonder what Sonido looks like with Yammy being that huge? lol.
So, to sum up, either this is PIS and the writer pulled this out of his ass, or it was planned all along and is easily explained, like I did above.

But, it's also been explicitly been referenced that Yammy's been too weak to fight Ichigo at his "current level". Seems like his power varies too much to count him being stronger than Ulquiorra or any of the other top 4. That's why he's 0.
At the same time implying he's the strongest, but because 0 itself has no value, it means he's the weakest Espada too.
When Kubo explains *stifles laughter* what all this is about, I'm betting he'll have Aizen or whoever say something like "(Yammy)'s power jumps around too much too give it a single ranking. His strength is never the same way twice, making his true power impossible to rank."
I just can't imagine Yammy doing anything in the way of speed at that size. And I just noticed again that he's a whole other section of legs and whatever behind him with a tail in the background.

No, 0 is a "value" holder in computers. 0 is just simply where the number starts and it holds values. In arrays, in Java programming, item "0" is the first item in the array. Capisce?

No. It's fine with what we have. I think it's been adaquately been accounted for. In his "human" form, he is the weakest. In his released state, he is the strongest, even compared to the others' releases.
Makes sense to me.
Think of it this way: In Ichigo's base form, he is as strong as an average captain. In his bankai form, he is stronger than most captains. In his vizard form, he is SUPPOSED to be stronger than any other captain. (PIS wrote that out of the manga). In his Second release Viazard form, he is stronger than a second release espada...so that is the strongest character we have seen, so far.
We have no idea if Ulq was/is stronger than Espada 0.

Bankai Ichigo beat one of the strongest Captains (both Kuchiki and Kenpachi). (Fought both to a vritaul stale mate...but collapsed each time. But Kuchii and Kenpachi said Ichigo won or something like that....)
So, by this logic, and the logic of someone saying earlier in the manga that a hand full of Espada could take over/destroy or something, all of Soul Society, then why do we have captains defeating released espada?
It's a huge load of PIS, I tell ya. Ichigo, like I've said many times, has been gimped each arc so he just doesn't power through everyone. Why was he not faster than every single Espada except for maybe Stark, in his Bankai form? He was certainly fater than Kuchiki and Kuchiki is supposed to be one of the fastest.

actually, it makes perfect sense. current ichigo even before fighting ULQ had reached such a high level of strength that his teammates were nuthing but fodder compared to him. however, if sumhow they end up beating the 0 espada TOGETHER, itll work like a classic plot device to give them enough power to become significant players in the battle to come against aizen. otherwise, it doesnt make sense to keep em around, seing that they were significantly outclassed even when ichigo first got his bankai.

If the Espada rank is to be considered true, then the 0 Espada should be leagues beyond even Stark. There should be no way that those three even remotely compare to Yammi, or else it's more PIS.
