Might apply to Tsukishima or Ginjou but Giriko had no such redemption.
He could have had an epiphany during death's blow via the realization of his arrogance and the futility of his creepy games. That eiphany being "power" over others. Someone exists that can quickly destroy ones power, at any given moment. That could be devastating to someone that enjoyed control above all else.
Look at me, I've taken story analysis classes, before. To me, that seems like what every English (or literature) Major does, all the time, to every story, ever. They add interpretations to make the writer seem more complicated/deep. It gets irritating. Hemmingway was the worst at creating such a palate for pontificators.

I don't really think Giriko could do much thinking with regard to his moral life considering his brain was split in two.

I agree with this, also. I thoroughly enjoyed Alucard's character. There was plenty of development for other characters, too. The story was very enjoyable. It ranks in my top 20 manga, for sure. The OVAs are just...absurdly awesome. Nemebro should love Alucard. We pretty much agree on every other manga. 😐 He's just being difficult. One day, he'll admit his love for Alucard.
**** Alucard, lol.

His soul is far more important than his brain. His soul is his purest essence and that soul was the thing that had the epiphany, not his mortal body which was bisected at that point.
Other than that - meh. MEH I SAY!

Why is Byakuya's head near dickhead's lap?
