Oh snap! This chapter was delicious!
Amazing that she is one of the greatest healing types...she has come a long way from a killing type, eh? 😄
Maybe Yamamoto was protecting everyone by not allowing her to enter the battlefield.
Also, Kenpachi...I knew he was a beast. But, apparently, he's an even greater beast than being let on.
Well, if you think about it, it has to be true. Ichigo got tons of training under people like Urahara and his own Zanpakuto. Zaraki does not have that kind of training...just battles. And, unlike other manga, training is important in Bleach: not like some shounen manga where the protagonist learns from battles. So, I could see why someone like Kenpachi would benefit from training. Look at how much Ichigo improved when training under Urahara? Then on his 2 or 3 day training session to unlock his bankai? Should make it clear that training newbs with really high levels of reiryoku results in massive power bumps.
Also, this Kenpachi fanboy is happy about the Zaraki Kenpachi praise...my favorite character. 🙂
All I can say is, I can't wait for Unohana and Kenpachi to start wrecking shit up.
Shunsui appointed CC, that is awesome. I'm thinking he's even stronger than he lets on too.
Looks like Ichigo is in fine form again, and what about Renji? He took that hit and didn't flinch either, I wonder how much stronger he's gotten? And if he's gotten stronger in the pools, how much stronger do you think Byakuya will be?

oh lawd! More fuel added to Uno's hype machine... this broad better start wreckin' shit like right now.
She was a waste of a character as there was a far better healer around who could actually had combat-related feats, and was an interesting character.
Now that she'll be training Zaraki, she's no longer a waste, which is good.
As far as the reveal itself is concerned, I have to say, damn.

Well, at least we got to know who Kenpachi named the pink-haired rascal after.Bleach chapter 114, page 11 of 12.
In fact, when I read this chapter I read that part a couple times, because I couldn't tell at first whether Shunsui was referring to Unohana or Yachiru. lol
Gotta say... this is perhaps the first chapter since the battle with Aizen got underway that I've actually *cared* about what was going on, in a Bleach saga.
Love seeing Shunsui having to take up a role contradictory to his character (Yay! Conflict and character development!)
Love seeing Renji being in a position where he has the possibility of not being useless, seeing as he's been largely irrelevant since his fight with Ichigo, I've been aching to see him do something prominent NOT in a chapter as fillerish as the execution arc.
LOOOOOOOVE the fact that Uno is the first Kenpachi!
And LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEE the fact that we get a little more insight into just how much of a ****in BAD ASS Zaraki is (one shotting the 5 espada {who had the toughest skin} with a technique he only trained for a day!?). So glad he got the nod as being a monster like he should be.
This chapter was.... good.... Bleach was GOOD?! I can't even believe I'm saying that.... Unreal.
