His character development?

Kenpachi doesn't need development, he's good as he is.

Well, this was better than Naruto at least.

Ikumi wants the D so bad. Ichigo continues the shounen trope of being a clueless homo protagonist.

If he was homosexual, he'd go after Renji or Chad.

Asexual, more like.

By homo I meant "dumb". Not, like, two space marines having a glorious male-on-male relationship whilst traveling through the warp.

thanks, Kubo, thank you for finally telling us what we all figured out last year.

.....

seems like Kurosaki isn't Isshin's name.

So how strong was Masaki, that she could kill something that Isshin, a Captain couldn't?

And at least we now know, well can speculate, that; Isshin is probably a Shiba.

It is likely yeah.

Might have been an ambush where Isshin was overrun, she healed him which leads me to believe that she's the Orihime type. But I don't know.

Hopefully we'll get another Turn Back the Pendulum mini-arc.

Wow a plot twist everybody and thier mother saw coming yeeeeeeears ago

So shocking kubp

WEEE!

Yes, I did call it years ago that Ichigo was half Shinigami and half Quincy.

Also, it was explained already where Ichigo got his hollow-powers from: his mother was attacked by a hollow while Ichigo was still in he womb.

Also, to be a Visored, you just have to be a shinigami imbued with hollow powers.

Lastly, to be a Fullbringer, your mother has to be attacked while you're in the womb.

So it is quite obvious while Ichigo belongs to all these "super groups": his father was a shimigami, his mother a Quincy, and his mother was attacked by a hollow while he was in the womb. That allows Ichigo to be part of all 5 super power groups.

Quincy
Shinigami
Visored
Hollow
Fullbringer

Bam. People get mad at Kubo for making Ichigo have all super powers but it is pretty simple.

I mean, it is no stretch to assume his mother was attacked by a hollow when she was preggo with Ichigo: she would be a delicious target as your spiritual powers would attract hollow.

mhm, definitely. and with him being a part of all of these groups at the same time, chances are he can combine the powers from each group into one. he's done it before already with him busting out a hollow mask, so once he gets a hang of his inevitable Quincy powers, using them along with his soul reaper powers should be a cince. and posiibly cool too.

He already used Blut with his shinigami powers, remember? He used blut defense to prevent his head from being chopped off. 😄

Technically a Visored is a mix between a Hollow and a Shinigami. And Ichigo doesn't have his Full-bring powers anymore.

Either way I do think that his diverse origins will have some impact on the story. But I'm more interested in what the Spirit King is.

I greatly regret that it is being done...because we will get the Chatwin bullshit from DBZ.

"Ichigo Kurosaki, a bright and attractive soccer player was bullied all through high school until a Soul Reaper gifted him Soul Reaping powers! Starring Justin Chatwin as Ichigo! Kristen Stewart as Rukia! And Taylor Lautner as Chad!"

I've seen what Hollywood can do to a live action adaptation of a Japanese manga. I'd soon rather risk my manliness doing ballerina recitals with Charlotte than watch whatever hideous monstrosity is being cooked up over in the movie industry.
