Well, it looks like the animosity between Ryuken and Isshin is due to Isshin squirting his baby juice into Masaki and Masaki was betrothed to Ryuken.

However, it worked out in the end because it seems the maid and Ryuken made Ishida and Isshin and Masaki made Ichigo. Edit - And, apparently, everyone is like "**** birth control."

Also, did you guys notice the nifty transition? When Ryuken pretty much told the maid that he and her cannot be together, we saw droplets of what seems to be water (but it is most likely the maid's tears). Next panel, it is raining. Nice symbolism, I thought.

So..uh Ichigo has two dads? I get why Ryuken is mad at Isshin and Ichigo now but what's the deal with being a dick to his own kid.

I like Ichigo's mom now but I still want to know how is it that she got killed by the likes of Grand Fisher.

it could be that she lost her powers similarly to how Uryu did.

So I guess the Hollow seen at the end of the chapter will be the reason behind Ichigo's Hollow powers. Now I'm worried Kubo will pull that scene from Naruto and have Isshin and Masaki seal it inside their child later on.

god, I hope not, Nemesis X, though since Ichigo does fall into pretty every major category worth something in Bleach (soul reaper, hollow, fullbringer, quincy, vizard) then maybe it has to do with him being a sort of fullbringer; his mother was attacked by a hollow and left an imprint of itself on her or something.

wow, no one has commented on this since last chapter. a bit of a shocker.

speakign of chapter, wow, looks like maybe Ichigo may possibly some kind of psuedo experiment of Aizen's if that guy had a hand in making this hollow who is clearly the same one Ichigo has in him.

Not much happen that we didn't expect aside from Aizen and Co. interfering.

Keep in mind Rukia early on somehow got badly hurt by some random hollow, despite being able to kill Arrancar Fracions with ease.

I guess, somehow, despite how little sense it makes, fairly strong people can manage to be ganked by low-level ones if caught off guard.

Or another guess, maybe she did the Quincy 'do this and lose all your power after' move.

It's pretty clear that Masaki and Isshin both did something to lose their powers. Probably the things Kubo introduced before.

And yeah Masaki is pretty much a great character. Love her.

damn, Masaki is awesome. a hollow that was more or less keeping Isshin on the defensive got taken done by her in like 2 pages. wow.
